I started listening to this with clothes on, but somehow by the end I was naked with my face painted like a clown. I really don't understand what happen and how I got here. Is this, is it real life?
@noexcusedrummer It is as if he himself wishes his own destruction after destroying everything. Which is why he says nothing as he turns to dust. A fitting end for one who destroyed everything.
IMO Kefka was a bit too easy. His Forsaken/Goner attack had a base power of 220 compared to Ultima's 150, but it's weakness is that it doesn't ignore split damage.
Who the fuck can claim that video games aren't an emotional art medium? They've obviously never experienced FFVI, or any of the other great story driven games.
they call sephiroth the one winged angle. Kefka's got 4 wings. lol Kefka achieved what sephiroth did not. In my book, kefka should not even have been capable of being beaten. I remember hearing this music and thinking kefka will kick my ass. lol
@megabusta12 Indeed. It's straight up biblical imagery. He's trying to portray himself as a Seraph. In fact the stage before him is a homage to Pietà (statue of Mary holding a dead Jesus). The layers below are references to the Divine Comedy.
I can imagine Kefka suddenly getting out a guitar and playing this during the final battle while explosions go off around him. Then giving a short mocking salute and falling over dead. The Heros would look on awestruck and confused by his final moments. That would be his true monument to nonexistence.
Surely the most powerfull guitar solo of the band.
Dancing mad is a curious song. At first listening, I didn't like this music, too long for me. I was 13 years old... After several listenings, I was able to understand all the beauty of this track. It's a pure piece of majesty, a terrible proof of Uematsu's genius. And this ending solo is just the most beautyfull solo I've ever heard. It goes porgressively to a climax of beauty. Not technique, but very well build.
Whenever this portion of this song starts..Kefka always performs his Final attack after saying "IN THE END COMES DARKNESS" one of the best gaming moments of the game
@melosebrainuhoh You, my friend...Are awesome. I agree completely xD Kefka is by far the greatest of the villains of the FF series, because of his attitude towards life...He can kill/destroy whatever he wanted, because he believed he was all powerful, a "God"(which he technically WAS <.<). God, I love kefka...wish I was him in some ways. XD
W-R-O-N-G. the 4 individual kekfa fights each looped their own piece of this EPOCH song, meaning that if u were a noobhead and took all year fighting one part it would indeed loop
dancing mad is a true end boss theme, no repeats just one long song! the solo part is amazing becuse it peaks the sad madness of Kefka, indeed all the sadness so far.
@CrazyN336 naa not worth Kujas time....might mess up the hair dont you know XD
