I said, technically we are republic, not a pure democracy. We didn't even have the popular vote until the 1830's. The people can't vote on every single thing. So we have a Rep. who may understand things better than the masses. The people don't always know what they want or what they need.

I don't really see how he mocked the Christian belief in armagedon, if he was making a wise crack it seemed like it was aimed more at the bonehead who felt the need to conect their religion to their public opinion on a bill of this scale. As for this video's title,it's a testament to the fact that a good deal of people from a particular religion or ethnicity in America believe they are the target of all the intolerance of the other groups.

Maybe it's just me, but, I think people think this is a government program, and it's not. It's a mandating program from the Government with penalties. It's a simple way of controlling the laws pertaining to coverage of a person, and the requirements that the Insurance industry must abide by. It's a forced issue that will penalize you for not having insurance even if you cannot afford it. It will now be a requirement to have health insurance if you're an American. Regardless if you can afford it.
