Nothing will change because he will never get anything passed congress, they all fear his pious fundamentalism. Any changes (which all agree must take place) need to be gradual to avoid the chaos we are seeing in the Middle East. What's needed is a STRONG President from Corporate America, who can lay out a clear road map going forward. but that won't happen because it would require a Junta

If he cant do it, then no other candidate can either, Their policies cater to ignorance and look at how easily they seem to get bought out to 'change their minds' about issues etc. Ron is consistent, Gingrich has good intentions but I just dont see some of his views doing many of us much good in comparison to Paul.

Pareto was an Italian mathematician who worked out that the 80-20 rule, shows up in all areas of the natural world. In this particular case, one could argue the point that 80% of the population is gullible to the point at which Ron Paul stands a chance at the Presidency. But my belief is that, the other 20% is motivated enough to make sure that doesn't eventuate. These are interesting times

America does not directly borrow money from China, the debt China has with America is by way of export credits..The USD is the still the default currency in international trade, hence China holds ship loads of it because we are all addicted to cheap 'Made In China' junk. As bad as that and NAFTA are for the American Worker, Ron Paul wants "international free trade", opposing all tariffs and taxes on foreign imports. This means removing all barriers to outsourcing, it's a hundred times worse than NAFTA and would make NAFTA meaningless.
