Is America past the point of NO RETURN.? It just might be! The rate of things trending in a downward spiral doesn't seem to have an end right now. Everything from Beef to Copper is rising at a much faster rate these days. The dollar lowers in value almost everyday. The cost of food at the grocery store keeps rising with no end in sight. Jobs are lacking and are still scarce to come buy. Were not in a depression were in a Great Depression and it will only get worse.

@iknownothingnow -- Thanks. I will be 53 this year and the promise of retiring one day seems more and more like a fanatsy. I would love for me to be wrong, but our government system (2 party) is dysfunctional and I do not see solutions to these long term problems. Cutting entitlement benefits will be difficult to do and taxations is incapable of supplying all that is promised. It could get very ugly later this decade.
