  • it seems to be a very famous bass riff but I still can't recognise it

    any suggestions?..

  • Cool Video!

  • I want that bass!

  • man thats cool o00o--(o_o)--o00o

  • ey, if any of you own the bass blogger, what do you think about it?

  • @jhbass94 I own the bass blogger for about a month or so and it is very easy to use and it is perfect for rock, alternative, R&B, funk. It has a very hard casing so it is very hard to damage. it also has a unique sound. The bad things are: I play in a thrash metal band so it doesn't go very good for that accept if you wanna get a cliff burton sound maybe, or henka blacksmith or Tom araya (on older records) it also isn't a very versatile pedal it lacks a litle of low end

  • what fender bass is he playing?

  • @thesweetspot82 a Musicmaster. Looks like a mid-late 70's model.

  • kevin is doing this - check out:

    bluegiantland(dot)com

  • Viva Voce rocks!

  • sick combo!

  • acoustic amps

  • This is how demos for effect pedals should be. Cut the talk. Play a riff, turn the pedal on, change the settings and show what it does.

More of those please. Less talk more rock.

  • ;-)

  • Shit, I didn't know Zach Galifianakis played bass!

  • not sure why but the riff sounds like classic rock meets Death Cab for Cutie.

  • i think i like the Big Muff Pi better

  • PRETTY AWSOME DUDE!!!!!

  • tab anyone?

  • I want to record my stuff and play on the drums, the sam eway he does. Does anyone know the hardware/software I should use for something like this.

  • Check out the "Delay & Looper" section of the EHX site -- in particular, the Stereo Memory Man with Hazarai and 2880.

  • Good demo! Hearing the sound change in real time through several settings with a simple repeating riff is the most effective way to guage the effects of the pedal.

  • Nice!

  • Sounds pretty sweet

  • wow i loved that..

  • Dig the jam. Very cool demo. usually it's some old dude in a Buffett print. Go VIVA!

  • This is cool, but I think the same tone could be achieved with the "dry" setting on the bass big muff, and with the bass muff you can also go heavier, so I would still go muff over blogger

  • Not the same -- the Bass Blogger is tuned for a mellower fuzz. If you want access to the fuzzier end, the Bass Big Muff Pi will get you there. But if you want an overdrive/distortion with the "sweet spot" at a lighter fuzz, then you should give the Bass Blogger some consideration. (And, per the blog post over on the EHX site, Kevin actually has *both* on his board.)

  • cool ;)

  • simple, but cool demonstration.

  • thats pretty cool
