This game is good but not great.

Pros: Fun gameplay, just jumping on enemies and going fast, like Sonic the Hedgehog and the music is just amazing. It's really fun.

Cons: The bosses are either too easy or too long to fight. Also, when you get to the later levels, the level design is flawed. It's confusing to navigate. Overall, this game is way better than the NES games by LJN but it's not great. 7/10

I think this was one of the better Back to the Future games before the new one from Telltale Games.

I still own a North American SNES that I actually had modified at a video game store to play Japanese cartridges, so I'm sure I probably wished I had gotten this game for it somehow.

The Hover board is was actually real; I have the DVD box set and I believe it was matel who actually came out with it. However, before it was released to the market, parental groups protested and set it was dangerous, so the plans to release it were pulled. It works with an electromagnetic field. Don't believe it. I have actually played said game, and, while I can overlook the brutal repetitiveness of it, there is no way I'm gonna sit by and not say that the third boss, not only is it irrelevant to the movie, but is thoroughly unbeatable. Even on an Emulator. Even if you work on him for over a half hour (which is what I did). he is unbeatable.

Really all the Alt 1985 (3-X levels) are a pain. Really poorly made, slowdown and undodgeable obstacles all over the place.
