  • DHARMA............oh follower of any religion whether christianity, islam......

    FOLLOW DHARMA

  • The whole epic of Ramayan is more symbolic than literal. People are so engrossed wit de story n hef 4gotten de significance of it. Every year people celebrate Dashara but yet Ravan is still existent. If he's finished what necessity is there to burn Ravan's effigy every year. It simply means Ravan is still ruling the Kaliyuga.

  • Ravan is a symbolic representation of the 5 vices (vikar) Kaam (lust), Kroth (anger), Lob (greed), Moh (attachment) and ahankar (Ego) in subtle and gross form...thus 10 heads.

  • soory, thank u for translating it

  • ok that would be nice

  • u sure thats okay, its low quality.

I can get it subtitled, because i have the dvd, and you can have subtitles

  • Well u can try and make it good quality, but u know try your best

  • I will get the whole song subtitled, but it will sound low- quality.

  • agree with icecubz0987

this sonitiger needs to learn manners

hindu4evr has translated the song for him& sonitiger doesn't even send a courtesy thankyou message2 him

    what awful manners

  • thanks! i know what u mean

  • i ment just translate the song, what are they singing

  • I gave you the gist of the song! OK, here's the translation:

    Victory to Lord Ram!

Ram's monkey army is building a bridge

There is no one in the World who can save Ravan's life

The Stones joined together, the Sea parted

Fear gripped Lanka and Sita was happy (con't)

  • Lord Ram's name is auspicious

The World has been blessed by the worship of SiyaRam

Realize if you can the power of Lord Ram's name - it will get rid of all your sorrows

  • The Stones do not sink in the Water when Shree Ram touches them with His feet

Jai SiyaRam, Jai Jai SiyaRam - this is life's mantra

Success is found where there is Unity, success is found where there is Devotion..........

    This what they are singing!

  • Note:

After the line: "Fear gripped Lanka and Sita was happy", they sing: "O' people, hear the greatness of Lord Ram's name"..........and then they sing "Lord Ram's name is always auspicious etc..............

  • tks hindu4ever for tranaslating the song

some ppl dont have any manners

they ask for favors but dont

know how to even say thanks

  • thanks 2 u (on behalf of

    mannerless sonitiger)

  • could someone tell me what they are singing when they are building the bridge, please translate into english

  • Jai Shree Ram! Salutations to Lord Ram! The Sea God tells Ram to build a bridge in order to save Sita. The Sea God tells Ram that HIS (RAM'S) name should be written on every stone....then the stones will NOT sink and that such stones with God's name upon them will support any creatures who tread upon them. This actually has a double meaning.

  • Figuratively, it means that any creature who "unconditionally surrenders" to the "will of God (Lord Ram)" will be "saved" and will NOT "sink" into the hell of material life.

  • This song also brings out the importance of unity: Unity is strength. Jai Shree Ram.

  • your right sanjay the govt are questioning hinduism, who cares what we worship they don't have to make a deal about

  • Great video......sad,in India, you are secular only if you are a hindu basher. Who the F*** is the Govt to question the existence of Lord Ram? Lord Ram is as real as can be....I know b/c I pray to Him & He has never failed to answer my prayers and rescue me from trouble. Who the bloody hell are these effing morons to question beloved Lord RAM? Victory to Lord Ram.

  • My message is NOT against ANY religion. It's about restoring India's secular principles. The point is that the use of ANY religious symbols on the nation's currency for religious propagation is UNCONSTITUTIONAL (NOT SECULAR). No religious symbols on India's national currency, please! The govt should NOT be promoting or giving the impression of promoting ANY religion on NATIONAL CURRENCY!

  • PLEASE READ! TO INDIANS OF ALL FAITHS:Is India really SECULAR? Why are we suddenly seeing religious symbols on OUR NATIONAL CURRENCY (eg "cross" Re2 coins)? WHY ARE THE MAP OF INDIA and SATYAMEV JAYATE (which symbolize ALL Indians)MISSING on these coins? The use of ANY religious symbols on our NATIONAL CURRENCY for propagation of religion is UNCONSTITUTIONAL (NOT SECULAR)! LET YOUR VOICE BE HEARD! Read the petition online ("cross" on 2Re coin petition). KEEP INDIA SECULAR! Jai Hind!

  • OMG Amrish Puri's voice is so great, he fits the Ravana's Perfect.

Shatru's voice is so convincing when he acts as sutradhar of the this entire epic...

Arun Govil's voice suits Lord Rama voice so perfect.

    Love it...

    Thanks again.

  • Thanks for uploading part 2 :)
