About your textures/shadows being messed up, it could be overheating of your gpu from overclocking. Otherwise remember the newest features/DX10+ won't work on XP.

@theemurider Thanks for watching. Good guess, it was my guess too. But however, I was watching temperature closely usimg MSI afterburner. I fix it with r_sun, r_sunshadows, etc... commands.

Windows 7 my friend ... no point in having a machine like that on the antique WindowsXP , Call of Pripyat uses full GPU Tessalation wich is the most advanced thing in gaming ... and it works only on Windows 7

The video is 6:40 long, and the first three and a half minutes were utterly wasted. Believe me, you're gonna get far more respect and praise for your game secret tutorial videos if you spare the system-boasting for a video of it's own. Also, the intro is WAY too long. An intro shouldn't last any longer than 7 seconds. (In the tutorial video for getting Streloks secret stash, you did this perfectly)

Hint: Just play and show the secret on video, and then add the commentary in post production.

@Arcrer Hey, no the best rifle in the game is going to be special edition from weapon dealer at Zaton. Ask him to bring you the special edition sniper rifle. I found that rifle has from the start best zoom and good accuracy - without any upgrades.

You said you are having some texture issues,

I know that if you are not using a 64 bit OS textures will only appear at 3/4 settings, even if you try to max it out.

Otherwise could be a glitch xD

Apart from that its a nice secret but kinda irrelevant to everyone who only want to see the majority of the quests not obsessively get everything. Why because the TIde (from nimble) is still a better sniper, it only does half the damage but fires 4-5 times faster.

@ 3630 Its the graphics card that really matters. Anything from a 9800gt or should be fine. However it.s always going to run slightly shonky according to the the Metro 2033 guys (ex GSC) the coding just is'nt that well optimised.

hey how much was the Sapphire Radeon 5750 coz im going to get a new graphics card. also you mentioned the problem with your textures. i had this problem too. the way i fixed was to lower the lighting quality. if you have it on DX10 quality it has been known to cause problems. hope this helps

for people who does not have a money and on low budget. My system by the wat faster then any dula core processors even new that dual core + HT, because its overclocked to 4Ghz. It is not boring.
