i want to know where obama supporters are at. there were like 2 at the polls when i was there. why on earth would someone want to vote for someone who wants to bankrupt the coal industry and raise our electric. oh well it will be over today (i hope) i did my part in doing the right thing and voting for the man who cares about my children's future, our safety, and is a proud american Mccain/Palin!
A vote for barack odrama-queen = a vote for a newborn baby. i.e.: "let's vote for someone who has NO experience and let him drive the country into the ground!". all celebri-tards(such as tom cruise and the rest of hollywood) who support barack odramamine are appearing in commercials to influence tv viewers into voting for cybobama. and the viewers are zombies: "yes, I will vote for B.O. because you say so".
A) she's not Mexican and B) your attitude overlooks the fact that so many Americans have no idea how to eat well because nutrition education is practically non-existent. It's often poor people that are forced to buy the least healthy foods. Calling obesity simply a result of eating alot...I'm afraid that's a simple view.
John McCain and Sarah Palin have based their entire campaign on a series of nasty, false personal attacks on Barack Obama. Their bet has been that Americans are a fearful, frightened bunch who won't be willing to vote for a new direction. But the McCain-Palin calculus couldn't have been more wrong; their bet is going to fail, and fail badly.
The American people are mad as hell and they aren't going to take it any anymore!
McCain, meanwhile, has stood for nothing other than attacks on Barack Obama. He has taken a Republican brand that had been shattered by George W. Bush and done nothing to repair it, leaving his party with no more of a clue about how to address the needs of ordinary Americans than they had when this election cycle began.
I for one am really looking forward to someone serving as my president who is well educated, intelligent, intellectually curious. Also someone who is a constitutional scholar, has clarity of thought, who is practical, pragmatic, and calm under fire. Well reasoned in his approach to dealing with the monumental problems this nation faces in the near and long term.
Bin Laden's family were linked to the Bush Family, you have gotten your information crossed. You will learn that millions of loyal Americans who want to see this country restored to it's former glory have donated to Senator Obama. The condition this country is in right now, we do not need an outside enemy planted in the government, and perhaps it already had been done 8 yrs ago.
Then you never kept up with the Presidential debates. I think our country got it RIGHT! This time! Go United States! Don't pay no mind to the senseless that write cruel and unhappy messages, they don't relize that the Bush administration got to them and they need space to vent and this is he way they do it, out of fear.
Apart from anything else, the Republicans should not be rewarded with four more years in office. Think of all the damage they have done: a ten trillion dollar national debt; a war based on lies and entered into for profit (and Osama Bin Laden & Al Quaeda still alive and well); the U.S. Constitution ripped to shreds; the economy in ruins, while the rich get richer. How could any sane working American vote for a Republican?
As President of the United States why should Bush warn anyone of the financial mess and not fix it himself. Why is he holding the highest office if he hasn't the intelligence to fix what is wrong, why would he choose a Democrat to fix it if he doesn't trust a Democrat? If I want something done right I oversee it from beginning to end. It is easy to project blame especially during an election year.
When I read some of the comments here on YouTube, see the delusion, and unfounded paranoia, I wonder about the sanity of many. However, I do agree with SheepDogOfOz regarding Senator Paul. However, the powers that be in this nation would not allow him the time of day to promote his platform. It is really sad.
Senator Paul unlike John McCain did not support the war in Iraq, and was against the current administrations trampling on the Constitution. He did not align with either of the ONLY TWO parties who seem to ever have a chance to get the media's attention.
I see Senator Obama as the lesser of the two evils. If I thought that Ron Paul could win, he would have my vote, however I DO NOT want my vote for him to give John McCain one added edge. With each of my neighbors I have 2 for McCain, on one side and one McCain, one Obama on the other and my husband and I both for Obama. Our votes void each other, but then my daughters are voting Obama, one husband Obama, and one Nader. Now Obama is up 2, 2 sisters 2 hubbys 2 Obama, 1 McCain her man not voting
Well, my husband is one of the blue collar workers who lost three jobs in the past 11 years. He is now working stocking shelves in retail, for little more than minimum wage, with almost 1/4 of his pay going to health insurance that has a $10,000.00 family deductible. We can't afford to visit my daughter who lives over 100 miles from us, because we can't afford gas, and we have not been able to get fuel to heat our home in PA. We are using electric space heaters sparingly.
Hopefully, he would be a President who actually keeps his campaign promise to rebuild a blue collar base in the sustainable energy field, and the jobs will pay decent wages like my husband previously earned before outsourcing. Perhaps the government can crack down on the health insurance companies, and we would once again have decent coverage.
If Obama did not know where his father's families WERE in Kenyan, then when Obama said he did not know that his aunt is living in US illegally, he would have spoken TRUTHFULLY, that is, IF OBAMA DID NOT VISIT HIS HOMETOWN, but Obama had visited his hometown! No one that went to his homeland town in Africa would not know that his aunt is living in USA ILLEGALLY because everyone of his relatives would have told HIM accordingly. OBAMA had lied again!

I think the Internet is really great for educating voters, if they use it properly. But, it has also been a way to propagate misinformation. It is a known fact that we have been fed propaganda over the years, but the internet spreads it like wildfire. I feel as though I have seen TMI and it scares me. I hope most is just paranoia, and not true.
True, and the public schools are not empowering students with the ability to think for themselves. Students should be empowered with the tools of Logic and Reason - Instead they're just being indoctrinated.
Present Public education is useful if the desired result is a nation of THX1138 consumer sheeple - but NOT if you want a nation of Free Individuals - as the founders intended.
I agree, and I can remember feeling as though we were being handed propaganda way back in 1970. My granddaughter is attending Catholic School, my neighbors are home schooling. The Catholic School has changed, and thus far seems to be very good. She is in Kindergarten, and the teacher makes a voice mail message daily updating parents on what was taught each day, and what is expected to be followed through on each evening. She has asked the parents to only pack wholesome snacks and lunches.
I could tell you a funny story about how teens today do not use logic or reason. Dorney Park 1 price all rides inclusive, pouring rain, company picnic, I decide to take my 18 mo granddaughter on approx 100 seat merry go round. About four kids on it, I wanted to stay on after it stopped, teen running it told me that we had to disembark and stand in line in rain to get back on, the line four people. He wouldn't start it unless we got off. The rules. 90 some empty seats for four more kids to use.
Sounds to me like more of a power-trip problem than a logic and reason problem.
The Napoleon complex - when a little man gets a little power, it can be a big problem.
People must be TAUGHT how to use power wisely. Human nature is what it is, and there are reasons whey gluttony and envy are so closely related as two of the 7 deadly sins.
Look at what happened with the Khmer Rouge: they got power, and they went mad, insane, with it.
Concern rooted in the observation of Obama's association with Ayers is not unfounded.
This is especially true when coupled with the apparent desire of Ayers and Co. to implement their Ideology at any cost; having articulated the willingness to murder 25 million Americans to establish their Ideological Utopia.
There are too many examples of such failed thinking in history NOT to be concerned - especially given the murderous activities of Obama's own cousin in Kenya.
Well, there are videos here on YouTube, that are propagating the idea that GW Bush, orchestrated the events of 9/11/2001, and the powers that be have plans to create havoc after the election creating Martial Law, and mass arrests, and genocide, right here in our wonderful USA.
The kind of self-righteous self-confidence that has become Obama's trademark is usually found in sophomores in Ivy League colleges-- very bright and articulate students, utterly untempered by experience in real world.
The signs of Barack Obama's self-centered immaturity are painfully obvious, though ignored by true believers who have poured their hopes into him, and by the media who just want the symbolism and the ideology that Obama represents.
Right now, after seeing some of the nastiest remarks here on YouTube, the judgmental so called Christians, bigotry, and the extreme division between the "conservative" and "liberal" I am more scared of what our own citizens are capable of than the Al-qaeda. After all more were killed in Rwanda, and Darfur than on 9/11.
Of course I do, and they each may have a different idea of who the creator is. I would hope that I will always have the right to who I believe my creator is, and that the government will not be able to deny me that right.
No but at the same time i think you were born a conservative idiot :) the man does not care about people like you. This is what i dont understand, WHAT has John mccain said about anything that helps people PLEASE enlighten me. Barack is trying to help everyone and not just the select few and considering your on youtube arguing with people id wager your note wealthy which mystifies me. w/e anyone who follows sarah palnin is a fool and a sheep
Each and every financial problem of this nation is linked to Corporate Greed. In this nation our ancestors fought for better pay, benefits through unionization. The corporations close their US plants, and move to countries that have no labor laws, even exploiting children. So, when a Democrat suggest that everyone should have the right to own a home, greed gives them one with unrestricted interest. Now, that poor guy with the high interest mortgage no longer has a job, due to outsourcing.
Why do we vote for a President if he has no power to correct the problems that he promises to correct while running for the office? President Bush had 8 years to correct the mess this country has been heading into since the Trade Act was passed. Instead of running us into debt with China, for an unfounded war, why not fix the mess we have here??? President, the busk stops here!
we kill 4400 american children per day by abortion and obama wants to make sure with my tax dollars to continue to kill our own, sure our enemies love him ,he is helping them kill us .Jesus Christ (God). calls it Murder and will send all murderers to Hell Rev 21:8 so repent and dont be an accomplice to Murder by voting for pro-choice killers Like Obama )

When I first met Barack Obama, he was giving a standard, innocuous little talk in the livingroom of those two legends-in-their-own-minds, Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn. They were launching him, introducing him to the Hyde Park community as the best thing since sliced bread.
--Maria Warren
That's the same Ayers and Dohrn who were willing to murder 25 million Americans to implement their Marxist Utopia -
WenhamLongington - The reason for the war in Iraq was to over throw Sadaam Hussein. He was the one telling the lies. He was refusing the UN to inspect certain palaces. I don't have any doubts about going to war over these reasons. Neither did the UN. I don't believe that the war was being executed properly. We can blame the Democrats for a large portion of this failure. The economy is the fault of corruption from both parties, and others.
Overthrowing Sadaam Hussein was not good for America. Sadaam Hussein was very good at killing Islamic extremists, who are our enemies. He was also an enemy of Iran. He had no weapons of mass destruction and posed no threat to us. He had nothing to do with 9/11. The Bush administration was aware of all that and blatantly lied in order to engage in a war for PROFIT. Meanwhile, the problem of terrorism has worsened throughout the world and Al Quaeda has grown stronger. Nice job, Bush Inc.
Ask Jimmuh Carter and ZBigniew Brzesinski (Obama's Foreign Policy Advisor, BTW) how they removed the Shah from power, supported the Ayatollah and, instigated the Islamic Revolution of 1979 via Operation Cyclone.
>>Overthrowing Sadaam Hussein
>>was not good for America.
Yes it was. Is Oil being priced in Euro's? No, it's not.
I don't blame Bush for what happened in 1979. As to the euro question - what has that got to do with protecting the US against the people who attacked us on 9/11? What you are saying supports my point.
The point is that we purportedly attacked Iraq in order to defend ourselves from a "grave threat" to our national security interests, not because of economic considerations. You apparently agree that Bush lied to us, and also broke national and international law. As to Oklahoma - what you say is rubbish.
Destruction of the hegemony of the petro-dollar was absolutely NOT in our best national interest.
>>As to Oklahoma - what you say is rubbish.
I've been to OKC to see McVeigh's handiwork - have you?
Dennis Mahon, a leader of the KKK, WAS on Saddam's payroll - that's a fact; and I think the evidence assembled by Jayna Davis is quite compelling, and, especially with regards to McVeigh's drinking chums, quite intriguing as well.
WenhamLongington, finally someone with brains, and guts. Soooo true. Bush camp claim that we have been safe for the past 7 years. The first Trade Center bombing was 8 yrs. before 9/11/01. So I suppose if something happens next year, they will blame Sen. Obama if he wins. The real enemy of the World is GREED!
I see such a rift between the two parties, that it scares me. How many other countries have had bloody genocide because of one group claiming superiority over another, blaming the other group for all the problems in the country. WE need to unite, after all we are the USA.
This is observable. How many terrorist attacks have their been on U.S. soil since 2001?
And 9/11 might not have happened if Comrade Clintoon had not destroyed American intelligence capabilities; and implemented such politically correct nonsense as the "Gorelick Wall"
When I first met Barack Obama, he was giving a standard, innocuous little talk in the livingroom of those two legends-in-their-own-minds, Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn. They were launching himintroducing him to the Hyde Park community as the best thing since sliced bread.
The "Hyde Park Mafia" purportedly backing Obama's rise was centered in the University's campaign for school reform, along the lines of the Ford Foundation and British efforts to corral American slum residents into blind, self-defeating local politics.

Republicans are stupid they said abortion kill babies but they support Iraq war which kill millions. They are racist so its ok to kill Iraqis because they are not whites.
'Republicans are stupid they said abortion kill babies but they support Iraq war which kill millions. They are racist so its ok to kill Iraqis because they are not whites.'
I'm sorry you don't have the mental capacity to distinguish between abortion and war.
And anyone who studies history would know that , if you had to pick between the 2, you would pick the democrats as the racists.
please wake up....anyone on the edge...please reconsider your vote.... Obama is one step removed from socialism...near communist thinking. He has some verry dangerous advocates waiting in the wings.....
To Kueball- Assuming you make under 200,000 dollars per year (I do, and most people in this country do), you will get a tax cut. I want a tax cut. That is not a handout; it is a reduction in the amount of taxes paid. The Republicans have been calling for lower taxes for years- now it is being offered- and there are still complaints. It's not too difficult to guess the reason.
Of course- the reason being is that the tax plan Obama offers will stifle productivity and slow wealth creation.
I'm glad you don't see a tax cut as a hand out- too bad Obama does. That is exactly what he calls it when higher earners get to keep more of the money that they earn- a hand out. Yeah, when we are being robbed at gunpoint and the robber lets us keep some of our cash, I guess it is a hand out. Some people would call that a double standard.
Some people who right now complain against democrats and Obama either don't know or want to pretend that before 2006, the Republicans had Control over the Senate and the White House, and even though they could have make the US better they put the oil and the wealthy first instead.
Some even think that the Democrats ruined the economy by taking congress in 2006, the economy was getting bad by the time the Republicans still had the majority.
To all the people in the world that can't have a word in this elections let's hear our voices sign because yes we can too Petition Online. com/ 1161591/ petition. html
Kueball, and some others, really, you must agree that the direction of this country in the last 8 yrs is bad, so many bad decisns, almost any plan to cgh is better than where we are headed. Why make abortion illeagal-it is a moral choice, another case where people are the problem. I think Bush has had a hard job, with all that was thrust upon him--but people know and can tell he is not running country with the best intrst or care of the american peple it is apparent, blatant.
Take Election Day off. Ascertain that you vote everywhere and under every identity which ACORN registered you. Take the day off and intimidate those conservatives, the young and especially the old alike from voting. Beware of those off duty soldiers as they are on to our scam. If it gets late and things arent going our way well just duplicate the job which we did on LA when Rodney Kings Behavioral Modification Experts were acquitted.
if you attain maturity, scrape up some self-esteem, go to your closet and see if you find some dignity, once you do that, go look in the mirror and say reject!, reject!, reject!
It seems funding for special education is evident. "Your going to wear a helmet and you don't even play football, keep acting retarded" ~ Mencia
actually the whole world has to deal with the consequences of this election. that is why they want obama 4:1 over mccain. they have had enough of idiots running the country. unfortunately republicans seem intimidated by someone that has an iq over room temp.
So the whole world can front the bill for all his entittlements. Hell, give me your address so I can send you the extra tax bill I will get from him. IQ over room temp is a cute little line, trust me when I say his IQ is not what concerns us.
Any one of his plans to 'change' this country is frightening.
His intellegence only shows in his ability to use measured words- that in the end don't measure up. He's a smart politician- not what we need.
The Republicans, racists, bigots ,etc are scared as hell of Obama. All they can do is attack him, but Obama never fires back, instead he focuses on the people and this country, while the hatemongers continue to bash him. Now that's what a leader and president should be.

All the republicans do this campaign is use fear tactics to scare people away from voting Obama. He's an arab, a muslim, a socialist and now antisemitic.
What is the use of fear to convince people to do something? Terrorism. The Republicans at this point are running a terroristic campaign against Obama.
Barack wants to "spread the wealth". That means if you are making $50,000 he is going to take a good chunck of that earnings ans give it to the lazy welfare recipients in earned income tax credits and to pay for their healthcare and their childrens education.
It continues to frustrate me that US voters do not do their own homework on how the tax policies of the two candidates are made up. If you do your own research, you will see that an American making $50,000/yr will be taxed one third under Obama's plan as they will under McCain's plan; which is more appealing to you? When people accuse candidates of raising taxes, they should know who those raises are going to target before they speak- McCain(Middle Class) - Obama(Corporations like Exxon-Mobil)
He's flip-flopped on this already numerous times! You people are morons for believing that SOCIALISM creates jobs and insures an individual's right to prosperity! SOCIALISM = SLAVERY!!! Why would you want the govt. telling you how to live? Only YOU know what life you want! VOTE ANTI-SLAVERY, VOTE McCAIN - PALIN on NOV. 4TH !!!!!!!
Look at this ass named TriggerJunkie. Vote anti-slavery?? Wake up. McCain and the Republicans are ALL ABOUT SLAVERY. So you're saying Republicans are for the poor and underclass? Shut the fuck up. You're the one flip-flopping. Republicns are all about slavery and giving to the rich whites. Think before opening your dump mouth you trash.
robsaskibum, the people who earn less money at any company do so because they do not create as much value as those at the top, nor have they taken on any risk. If the lower paid workers 'earned' the money, they would have it, and would be a target of higher taxation.

Senator Paul unlike John McCain did not support the war in Iraq, and was against the current administrations trampling on the Constitution. He did not align with either of the ONLY TWO parties who seem to ever have a chance to get the media's attention.

It's unfortunate that we're dependent upon the hegemony of the petro-dollar, but dependent is what we are.
We are subjugated by the tyranny of our own appetites for oil.
The withdrawal from that addiction must be carefully managed - or, it could prove systemically fatal.

He described it succinctly in "The Theory and Practice of Oligarchical Collectivism" -Google it.
Gandhi recognized the same thing.
They both recognized the self reinforcing nature of the police state; the nature by which the state responds to violence by becoming stronger.
And this is precisely why Gandhi chose to seek freedom by making salt. He knew the only way to beat the police state was to not empower it.

Overthrowing Sadaam Hussein was not good for America. Sadaam Hussein was very good at killing Islamic extremists, who are our enemies. He was also an enemy of Iran.

If it gets late and things arent going our way well just duplicate the job which we did on LA when Rodney Kings Behavioral Modification Experts were acquitted.

actually the whole world has to deal with the consequences of this election. that is why they want obama 4:1 over mccain. they have had enough of idiots running the country. unfortunately republicans seem intimidated by someone that has an iq over room temp.

The American people are mad as hell and they aren't going to take it any anymore!

cont...

I for one am really looking forward to someone serving as my president who is well educated, intelligent - and most important - intellectually curious. Also someone who is calm and reasoned in his approach in dealing with the monumental problems this nation faces in the near and long term.
Barack Obama honestly fits that profile.
That alone is the Change We Need!

That means if you are making $50,000 he is going to take a good chunck of that earnings ans give it to the lazy welfare recipients in earned income tax credits and to pay for their healthcare and their childrens education.
joym525 3 years ago
It continues to frustrate me that US voters do not do their own homework on how the tax policies of the two candidates are made up. If you do your own research, you will see that an American making $50,000/yr will be taxed one third under Obama's plan as they will under McCain's plan; which is more appealing to you? When people accuse candidates of raising taxes, they should know who those raises are going to target before they speak- McCain(Middle Class) - Obama(Corporations like Exxon-Mobil)

Obama's tax plan states:
Capital gains rate 0% for SMALL BUSINESSES making UNDER $250K taxable income.
Capital gains rate for all INDIVIDUALS would be raised from 15% to 20% (5% higher).
INDIVIDUALS making over $250K tax would increse from 36% to 39.6% (3.6% higher).
INDIVIDUALS making under $100K tax would get around 5% tax decrease.
This will give a BIG BOOST to small business, create jobs IN AMERICA and BOOST the economy.

So we can't occupy Iraq AND have small covert operations? I agree it requires covert operations to infiltrate cells and capture bad guys.
That doesn't mean we should abandon Iraq.
We had plenty of reasons to get involved before Pearl Harbor, and as I posted already, we could have saved millions of lives and possibly prevented
