i play random when i play starcraft 2 and this is what i will go for when i play them.

zerg: zerglings whit infestor are realy good vs protoss if they got medium thec

terreh: 3 barrack whit all theclab are realy good vs terran and protoss if you go riper.

protoss: fast exp whit mass canon and got one more exp whit more canon and at last two starport. < this is good vs zerg but remember that you most have about ten cannon each base

I mostly play Protoss but I play Zerg and Terran aswell Protoss are great for rush attacks not because of how quick you can get units but because of the high attack strength of zealots. Even only 9 can beat a player that isn't awesome at playing in like 20 mins

The Covenant and Protoss both hvae been left technology such as space flight, plasma weapons, energy swords and cloaking by higher more advanced species that are now dead. Both of these groups treat technology as religion and the aliens that gave it to them as Gods. The Zerg and Flood are both alien species that assimilate the genetics of those that they conquer in order to improve themselves and become stronger. Same thing with U.N.S.C. and the Terrans.

Im saying they are alike in some ways.Both are very religious, the protoss remind me alot of the sangheili, both are the technological advanced species in both series(while both series also have a super technological race, Xel'Naga and Forerunners) and both armies focus alot on honour. One difference though is that Protoss focuses on warp technology while the Covenant focus on plasma technology.
