Well unfourtantly it can only be either. The Bourne Legacy or a totally new film as the director on a interview on a documentry channel said that they cannot use The Bourne Conspiracy as its already been/being used as a Game for Xbox 360 and other consoles etc. and that they cannot make conspiracy for that reason. But Heads up. Matt Damon also said hes not intrested in the money and if he has the oppurtunity to play Jason Bourne again as long as the script and directing is good, He'll do it! =)

There's actually two other books in the Jason Bourne series: The Bourne Legacy and The Bourne Conspiracy. If someone wants to make a movie on them and Damon is willing to return to play the role, we could see another Bourne movie in the next 3-5 years.
