It's weird how people get all funny about Derek and Jason. You know that they are all still friends and hangout? And Jason said in a recent interview that the Mayday Parade guys are the nicest people. So theres nothing awkward about them playing together. Derek always looks awkward haha

Some people like Derek and some people like Jason. I like them both and they're completely different. It's not a completion. :)

At an acoustic gig its nice for others NOT sing along. Yes, Im sure the band like it....who wouldn't. But Im sure they are used to it. Yes, its fun to sing along but so is HEARING the band you go to watch. Even more so when the original AMPLIFIED gig was canceled.

This is a really different acoustic, but really good, acoustic than Mayday's other attempts to play MAB acoustically. Jason wrecks on guitar and vox! I like how Derek gave up the guitar in the beginning. It was a little funny to see Derek freaking out at the chords he was playing. All in all, they sang great together and it's good to see them play together like this. Shows that we can all get along.

I was there! It sucked that it was postponed, but I feel like we were all really lucky that they did this for us. We got something that none of the other dates got. It was more intimate. I can't wait for them to come back though! Btw, did you feel like Derek and Jason were really awkward during this? Derek seemed intimidated. I feel like they're not completely over the past, but I'm glad they put it aside to do a song together.
