You would tap the exact octave above (so difference is 12 frets) and you're actually mirroring your fretting hand. For example, if you're playing the 5th fret on the low E (that makes it an A on standard tuning), the harmonic would be tapped on the 17th fret of the same string (A, but one octave higher).

personally i dont like the pod dist i have a podhd500 and i only use the parametric eqs chorus delays etc... in combo i have an ibanez jemini its a good combo i higly recomend it dude awesome soulful playing
