man I have been programming in HTML for years and never knew how to work with Php, to be honest never really knew what it was, but I just found your videos and I've followed along this long and it is amazing, I love your teaching method and to be queit honest I would start selling DVD's of stuff like this... you could be the one to teach old people how to use myspace, lol! Before I go any further wit my template that I am making for wordpress would putting my intro page as main_page.php and my mockup.php as my layout of my wordpress custom theme would it work right when I go to upload it to my wordpress as my layout has three columes with 7 pages to link to on my site and 2 of my pages will have a different header & layout, so will this work when I am finshed and ready to upload it to my wordpress site? I have downloaded some but they are not linked to pages.

Invisible tables are easy. Make a regular one, and in the properties panel, or in the HTML, change the border to 0.

In design view, when i have the php tag in (which is inside body) it messes everything up in design view, but its fine on live view and on the testing server and when its uploaded.

I am trying to make my footer at the center but whenever I upload the footer template the index always shows the footer closer to the left like all the way to the left

Is it better to use Div's rather than tables? Does it make a difference in the long term? Does it affect how much users can customise their own page?

Ya, Div's are way better. A lot more flexibility, if you ever want to edit the look or tweak your site, it's a must. check out csszengarden. com ...it shows you the power of css, how with the same html you can totally change the look of ur site, with editing the css.

I have a query though, I have read that using tables when designing your site is not considered to be the correct thing to do (you highlighted this slightly in your video).
