They make guns that can be used underwater...real ones I mean.

HK has ...i think it was called P11 but I´m not sure. It has 5 seperate barrels and fires them with an electric primer, battery is in the grip. Needs to be sent to HK to be reloaded.

The Russians also have an AK-74 variant that can use either normal 5.45mm ammo, or special darts (the magazine is overly big then).

Nevethe less you can also fire pretty much any gun ONCE underwater...

But the range is pretty short.

NO, I mean a gun that you can FIRE UNDERWATER EFFECTIVELY.

The HK 416 is a conventional assaultrifle...if you fire it underwater, the ammo would go somewhere other then your target, and the gun would jam because the added resistance from the water won´t allow the casing to be ejected fast enough.

And does the HK 416 have 5 Independent barrels? I think not...

I tried this with a similar gun (BE G36..same company that made the gun in this video) and the gun worked after submerging the into water, but you better open your gearbox and dry everything inside or your internals will rust up in a month.
