These guys were from Lithgow and won the Hoadleys Battle of the Band. We locals loved them. Played around the local dances, Alan Oloman was one and the boy of Wilkinson, can't remember the other names.

This is one of the songs that could equal anything the rest of the world had to offer at the time in the same genre....too bad no one outside of Australia and perhaps NZ could hear it at the time.

Maybe at the time they would have pressed up 500 singles to meet demand. 20, 30, 40 years later the rest of the world discovers them and these 500 singles are worth a goldmine if anyone can find a copy. A big thank you to those people who have shared these rare tracks with the rest of the world :)
