  • Weird i noticed the 0:30 but not the 0:31

  • why would you want to do that, you consume your battery in 5 seconds, that battery could last for weeks... in for example ...a ligther??

  • Is this some kind of magic or what? O.O

  • step 1 get lighter

    step 2 light it

  • Does it have to be a 9 volt battery

  • Shit people, the missing second was discovered a long time ago and occurs on every video. Don't need to point it out.

  • liars, there is a pony at 0:33!!!

  • where can u find steel wool

  • @putsandfreind steal it

  • @putsandfreind Anywhere. Lowes, walmart, etc. Just ask someone at a store.

  • Shit I just tried it and it works really well I think I had finer steel wool than in the video.

  • ever heard a lighter??

it's much cheaper than all of those...

  • @tantantan0852 its only 2 small items and their not expensive.

works for camping, it isn't bad to know something new.

  • poop

  • é mesmo não a 0:30

  • step 1: get a lighter.

    step 2: make a fire.

  • @anbuhacker Did u also notice i dont fucking care ?

  • @anbuhacker u mad bro

  • @anbuhacker because its a 31 second video you dope

  • @MrSr777 BEcause youtube counter 0:00 as 1 second.

  • @MrSr777 That's wacky

  • yeah!! you're right man

  • but if you don't have a lighter, matches NOTHING!!! BUT A NINE VOLT BATTERY AND A STEEEL WOOOOOL!!! AND YOU CAN MAKE A FIRE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;D

  • this would be a good idea incase you left your lighter at home

  • @Eddyisrich403 So you would leave your lighter.. But you would carry steel wool and a 9 volt battery..?

  • @UltimateFAILx3 well you know in life shit happens all the time

  • @Eddyisrich403 So , that means that you carry a 9V battery and steel wool with you all the time?

  • @ucg102 no just saying like for instance if you have them in your vichicle or somewere then that is one way

  • @Eddyisrich403 Sorry sorry i know , i was just being a dick

  • Wow cool! Something new every day!

  • This is useful to some extent I guess... What it really comes down to is which is more common: steel wool and batteries, or a bic lighter. You can grab a lighter at any gas station lol. So this isn't very useful at all. cool trick, though.

  • step 1:use matches

  • I wonder how he found out about this...

  • @DallePipper The reason it works is because it creates short circuits, which spark, the steel wool has many contact points causing many sparks, Therefore starting a fire, The 9V battery is used because both positive and negative terminals are both on one side, Rather than the standard AA battery which has them on opposite ends.

  • @Dustin2010james I was just wondering, how he may have found out about this.. Maybe putting the battery and the wool in same pocket.. ;-)

  • I think this could be useful if you brought them with you when camping or something.

  • My teacher did this in class. :)

  • How are people saying this isn't useful?? If your planning a hike, camping trip, or whatever this would be handy to pack separately in your gear.

  • Good things to have in a bug out bag. Nice.

  • well I think it's very cool :D

  • yes but did you see the man with the golden voice ?

  • would be a nice magic trick if u could hide the battery somehow.

  • I found this so utterly useful, because there's such an abundance of metal sheep and 9-volt batteries in the wilderness.

Nah, in all seriousness this is a cool trick to know, even if it isn't necessarily useful.

  • @Mac1634 I didn't even know they could grow metal sheeps. Don't they get rusty?

  • @hilltopfarmsplumbing They certainly do. But commercially sold steel wool is obviously sheared from sheep in their prime.

  • @Mac1634 Makes sense

  • @hilltopfarmsplumbing Naturally.

  • END PRODUCT OF STEEL WOOL: Brunt Turd! LOL!

  • Would this work with a regular AA battery? I'm guessing not.

  • LIGHTER . you been replaced :p

  • Bear Grylls need to see this!

  • wew

  • how did my pubes get there

  • That stinks

  • click on ------------->> 0:16 to see it happen

  • its wierd how people wanna know how to make bombs but all u need is alot of fuel

  • OR......You can have a lighter,,,like a normal human... hahahha!

  • 0000 steel wool works best...that's 4 ot steel wool

  • Is The Steel Wool ok? >:)

  • is this real!?

  • @souphiane10 yeah

  • i never heard of steel wool before. Where can I get that from thanks.

  • @NinjaReptiles Almost any plumber shop or what ever you call it, i have a amazon link for you, its pretty cheap. I will PM you the link

  • @NinjaReptiles robot sheep obviously!

  • so you just touch the 2 charge... things... whatever u call them... you just touch them to the steel wool?

  • Ok so lets see i need to get a fire started... i got a magnifying glass, its sunny, dead leaves.... damn it non of these are useful! Wheres my 9volt and steel wool!

  • I hear they have these new inventions called lighters and matches which are super handy at making a quick fire...

  • could i use this to replace lighter whenever i want to smoke when i go out?

    would you recommend it?

  • so cool

  • a real man carries a car battery and a barrel of scrap metal

  • OR... you could carry a lighter?

  • @FitouRS sorry that's faster than lighter :P

  • @FitouRS this would light easier in cold or windy place though...

  • @FitouRS ofcourse he can'..he was just demonstrating an alternate way of making fore'...we can use knowledge like this someday :)

  • @FitouRS lol thats cooler...

  • @FitouRS thousands of kids watched this thaey cant buy a lighter

  • Not safe, if the battery gets to hot, it will leak. And for people who dont know whats inside the battery, its acid.

  • If I planecrash on a fucking island, there are much easier ways to make fire!

  • @steeve84 That sounds like you have never tried. Making fire from "nothing" IS that hard. So THAT's the easier way to start a fire.

  • How to make fire

    1. go to gas station

    2. buy lighter

    3. roll your thumb down the lighter and hold onto the red button

    4. you have graduated to a civilized human being. Congratulations! :D

  • @PayneProdutions lo0ol ikr its dhat simple=^D

  • I just taped myself turning on the stove.. and I got 200,000 views! IN YO FACE SPACEPAINTER!

  • Alternatively take a cigarette lighter with you when you go camping.

  • Cool . Now , where can i get that steel wool ?

  • @iEugene1994 Any store, even walmart.

  • @Xx0DJ0xX Well , i live in post-soviet country(Ukraine) , and we haven't that stuff like dry ice or steel wool in our typical walmart-like shops , just because no one need that(exept really rare cases) .

    Из России с любовью !

  • @iEugene1994 Ohh i am sorry then and ya i do not really know the main purpose for the both but they might be able to be bought off the internet...

  • @Xx0DJ0xX That's for sure, but in the case of steel wool for getting fire, you must agree, this is a perversion, it would be easier to buy a cigarette lighter in the nearest store. And if there is no, thanks to humanity everywhere is still enough of trees, which are not particularly offended if they otlamat couple of branches. Friction which is produced our fire.

  • @iEugene1994 Yes that is for sure i defiantly agree

  • gas+fire=dead

  • DeathAngelHRA lol bush of wool and batterys? good story i meaan it

  • 9v battery 5$ + steel wool 4$ = 9$

    lighter = 1$

    One lighter please

  • @plxplox94 i usually just go to my grandmas house and egt everything free lol

  • where the hell did you get that steel wool

  • @BASHA1612 u can get it a homedepot

  • Thanks man

  • sick trick

  • This is really helpful, Because I usually do not carry a lighter with me. However, I almost ALWAYS have steel wool and a 9V better on me. Thank you!

  • Note to self: Don't put steel wool and batteries in the same pocket...

  • @InvaderWakkoReborn yeah, and if you dont have a lighter? your fucked now aint ya lol?

  • Faster way:

Take a lighter and press the button

  • Go To 0:16 To Save 16 Seconds Of Your Life.

  • This is easy to throw in a backpack and it works in rain. Try your rotary $1 Bic lighter [or any other flint lighter] when it's raining and you'll wish you had the steel wool and a 9V battery. Furthermore, this will produce more fire, i.e., more heat to ignight your tinder.

  • omg i forget my lighter oooohh wait i take my battery and my steel wool !

  • is this really possible?

  • or just use a ligther.

  • cool now you can eat it lol

  • Duracel! Now as flamethrower!

  • what is steel wool? never heard of it before

  • note to self keep steel whool and battery in seperate pockets

  • @3dmanification note to self: Remember how to spell wool correctly.

  • @3dmanification and also learn how to spell.

  • Can u re lite it after a while

  • wow cool

  • its like a fish head! noticed?

  • wow

  • COOL

  • I think i'll be able to find a match or a lighter before i find steel wool

  • steel wool

  • to make fire fast, light a match

  • off to the Forrest

  • This saved my life once.I was lost in the forest, cold and hungry with no way to keep warm or cook my HotPockets when I came across a Steel Wool and 9-volt battery bush.

  • @DeathAngelHRA that's why you always carry a survival kit

  • @DeathAngelHRA

dude you had me rolling on the floor laughing!!!!
