wow i live in slidell and my whole property was under water had no home for 3 months i lived in a trailer for a year and finally living in a condomenium plz every one pray for people hurt/killed in this incident

hi my name is bryan im 11 years old i lived in lousiana slidell since i was 5 everything was destroyed my best freind was killed i cant tslk about it anymore stay strong every one its hard to look at everytrhing now and that damn hurrican gustav isnt helping either

I moved to Ohio after Katrina and I miss Slidell so much. Thanks for the video. Left many friends in that wonderful city.

omgshhh.i lived in slidell,our house got destroyed so we just picked up and moved to tennessee and sold our house.we got nine feet of water and tree damage:[

We live in the DC area.I had never heard of Slidell before last week. Our daughter is in Ameri-Corp (2nd year) and her team is coming to Slidell in May! She told me where she was going so I googled it and found your site. Watching the video was painful, I'm so sorry for all you've been through. The kids in Ameri-Corp are dedicated hard working volunteers. I guarantee they'll bring a smile to your faces.

As a member of the military who helped in the aid effort immediately after and as a Slidell resident, the whole thing hit me hard... All I wanted to know was how my friends and family were doing as I was going through new orleans helping people... I can say it was a worse feeling than any of my trips overseas...

The sad thing is, even though, we were so close to New Orleans, it seemed because of that, it has taken us more effort to receive the help we needed then and still need. Thanx for the vid. Peace,Aaron from Slidell
