Flamenco is a music and dance tradition belonging to the Gypsies and so which was actually born in Rajasthan, India... the homeland of all "true" Gypsies. They took it to southern Spain where they made their home in Adalucia, from where it has spread around the world...

@TheGeorgeByron flamenco is an ancient male berber dance in morocco that almost died out there when the moors occupied spain and portugal. its still practisised in morocco dancing on big drums. and flameco is from arabic word: fellah min gueir. spain has issues with the moors thats why they dont get the creds. but you can watch documetarys. and the gypsies they adopted not influenced.
