@Davy2612 Oh, holy crap. You said something to me :) Nah, I'm not a 360 fanboy and I don't care about the PS3. I'm a fan of cross platform gaming, but PS3 doesn't offer much to that. I have a job, it pays pretty well and has great job security unlike most places in the US. I'm actually stationed in Japan, here's the scoop, not going to happen. Oh, and you can't benchmark graphics on a console by watching CGI.

PS3 = Cheap BluRay player with many functions. Look at it this way, all the major titles that release on the PS3 are usually moved to the other consoles. Several games have made endeavors to do cross-platform multiplayer with the PS3 (i.e. the new Unreal Tournament) with no joy. It's amazing how much they had to tone down the game. I'm surprised that Square-Enix still keeps the franchise with the PS3, despite how hard it is to program for. 360 just has better products, hands down.

I would very much like to see this game re-made. Even though it isn't probable it would still be a good experience to see what they could do. I'm content with the old FF7 and I don't think any new one could change my opinion(unless they made it rate shit, which could happen). Also, you all should quit bickering about ratings and about which one is the best because of course everyone will disagree or agree because guess what, nobody ever agrees unanimously on things like this.

Isurugi, I'm no FF7 fanboy (I prefer 6) but just because 12 got 10/10 and 7 got 7.5 means nothing, thats one magazines oppinion, surprisingly they arn't law. FF12 sucks. All final fantasy games after 9 have been disapointing.

ff12 is all around gay but ff7 hurts my eyes.. i prefer the old school ones and 8-10(not 10-2)ff7 is really over rated... the story didnt blow me away at all and there were only 2 really cool characters

Shut up, you have no fucking clue what you're talking about because IGN, Gamespy, and Gamespot sure DON'T. They are biased towards games that sell and will give them better reviews. Now say, if you didn't take forcefed opinions and say, got one of your own, you'd realize that none of the numbered Final Fantasies are really good. Of course, the exception to that rule is Final Fantasy 6.

I am depressed to see a remake of FF7. This makes all you idiot fanboys cream yourselves. FF7 is NOT THAT GOOD. It's barely even a top 5 Final Fantasy in my book. Know what I'd like to see a remake of for the PS3? Two games: Final Fantasy Tactics and Xenogears. Both are superb games compared to FF7.

How? This game is FF6 with blocks for graphics, a smallest, less polt expanded cast of characters with even more annoying traits, and a rediculous battle system that made the game far too easy. You sir, are a noob.

This is meerly a "technology demonstration" for the PS3, showing an example of its power and abilities, they have made a re-make or re-render of the opening sequence to FF7 to show this. As of yet there has been no confirmation or statement from Square of a remake of FF7, so many people have misread this as a preview of a coming game rather than what it actualy is; a preview of a coming console's abilities.
