  • Can't believe you gave an injection without gloves.

  • thank you.

  • First of all, this seems like very old footage. I count so many mistakes, mostly the ones previously mentioned. NO GLOVES!!!!...what the hell is the point of him washing his hands....didn't chase the needle, capped with hands. AND i've never had to use 2 hands to inject.

  • why does a pimpile or something like that comes while taking the needle?

  • geee... no gloves...also the site of injection for intradermal has mole...bet its really outdated..but its helpful..i got some techniques

  • very interesting :D

  • omg that 1st needle was in for a heck of a long time

  • this video was helpful although no gloves which is a very important thing regarding OSHA and they also didn't say anything about the appropriate gauge size or needle length which is important as well, and another thing about the alcohol swab aren't you suppose to let it dry first before you inject anything so it wont hurt as much (sting)...thanks for the video though :)

  • Serious how old is this video because it is helpful but at times I'm like is this outdated

  • you really need to aspirate with sub-Q... as well as with IM... for safety.. only with ID that you won't need to do it..

  • wtf no gloves .. my instructor says that the back fat of the arm is the best ... and to aspirate ...

  • o aspıratıng for su q

  • In sub-q... Why does he doesn't firm the skin when the medication was entered and why he used his non-dominant hand in pushing the plunger??? My Instructor teach us to use the non-dominant hand to firm the skin and hold it until the medication was consumed and in injecting we use only the dominant hand... After injecting the medication, we release the non-dominant hand....

  • no gloves? wtf

  • OMG!

  • We have been practicing sub-Q all week and I have asked my teacher about aspirating for sub-Q. And I was told no. Thanks for the video.

  • The only one you do not aspirate for is intradermal and SOME medications you inject IM or Sub q but if not those medications you always aspirate. The dosage calculated for sub q or IM is not calculated for intravenous injections you could possible over dose someone and depending on your license you could be doing something out of your scope of practice. This video is the best I have seen so far on Youtube some of it is a bit off, like where is gloves ? and clean with ether or acetone?

  • Very helpful video. Thanks!
