Boots do make a large difference, for me they do anyway, if you were to give me a touch boot instead of a speed boot, I wouldn't be able to take on my player as much and even my overall control and shooting won't be as good. It does make a difference.

dude boots do make you better, ive tried total90,predator,tempos,ctr360­,f50's and now vapors, i noticed the difference right when i put the vapors on, my touch got better, the shooting and quicker feet and speed.. so i recommend for all beginners or competitive players to try the vapors...

Thats true, but boots nowadays are built to improve your performance-You ever heard of Craig Johnston? When he retired, he developed a basic Predator boot that many professionals use developments of these days. I saw a video about it in Business Studies before, and it was very interesting. He experimented with a normal boot, cutting grooves and doing other basic modficatins, and then testing them himself to see what difference they made. I can't remember the programme, but it was a great watch!

But if you wear Nike Vapors it is easier to run and do skill's than it is with the much wider and bigger Total 90 shoot. I have both and i find it hard with the Total 90's.. so in a way it makes a difference,, but if your not good at football no boot will make you better.
