@Kandi305 Endoscopic sinus surgery is performed for the treatment of various sinus problems but usually for chronic sinusitis. The images are magnified using the small cameras that are put in the nose for surgery. The actual amount removed is not that large. Specific parts of the sinuses are removed to open them more widely.
I had this done... when I woke up it felt like a brick hit me between the eyes. I also had my deviated septum repaired at the same time. Pretty painful but worth it. The headaches are gone and I can breath through my nose now.. My sense of smell is not 100% but then again it never really was prior to the surgery. This is hard to watch!!
this doc likes taking out alot of stuff is it really necessary to take out so much stuff. is there any less insave way to do waht he is doing. and what is the purpose of this surgery. sorry if my spelling is off or i am being stupid i just wanna know
@stingrayzer 2 weeks off and mine cost $27,000. Fortunately I had good insurance at the time. Its an outpatient procedure that takes about an hour or two.
DON'T DO THIS ! I am in the worst pain I have ever experienced.

If considering sinus surgery, you should speak with your local ENT surgeon about these questions.
