In VA we have the SOLs (Standards of Learning) kids are taught to pass the test, teachers are not allowed to deviate from the test. This movie was truly an inspiration. I think just about anyone could relate with the kids in the movie with one's own personal life issues. I grew up in a very diverse community and even though I'm asian, I hung out with all hispanics and african-americans. Other asians would look at me funny for doing that all the time, but it didn't matter to me. I am who I am and i'm not ashamed. I never give a person more respect than another based on their skin color. I respect & love all races! One Love!
