  • Excellent, thanks !

  • Amazing slide guitars ... Hail Nazareth .. !!!

  • "Vigilante Man" and "Guilty" are my 2 favorite peaces from this group... what a great singer.

  • prefiro a versão original do ry cooder

  • Beam me up Scotty, this is the last song I'd like to here whist passing from this World to the next!!

  • TV Auftritt mit Playback, wie es üblich war, Dan hasst das, wie man auch sehen kann ;-)

  • Great cover. Great singer. Nazareth were very clever with a lot of their covers. They played in Ayr a few years ago and Dan sat with the punters in the bar after the gig gabbing away. No pretensions.

  • Dan McCafferty. Brilliant singer.

  • Nazareth usualy make covers very diferent from the original ...woody's original version is almost like another song.but is not know.Look begger's day original by nils lofren is the same thing you barely reconize the song comparing to Naz version...this flight tonight too the list goes on..

  • Super stuff from my hometown Dunfermline band. Love it.

  • Nazareth ftw? Go boys!!!

  • gran blues i love nazareth bien cantado uuh llegan ami corazon dan el mejor

  • Woody Guthrie wouldnt mind this version of this classic song from the 1930's!!!

  • razamanaz was a great album

  • what band today could you possible compare to making sounds as dam good as this

  • I photographed Nazareth in an outdoor concert in Canada. TO see the shots go to ianmarkmusicphotos (.com)

  • Ich kannte das doch tasächlich nicht. Habe Nazareth immer irgendwie gemocht...aber das ist der absolute Hammer. Ich schaus mir immer wieder an. Musste 52 Jahre alt werden um das kennen zu lernen

  • There is no voice similar to Dan's

  • McCaferty is so young. That time was a time of great musical experiments. It's one successul from that. Great. One of my lovest songs in Nazareth

  • killer song ...so good old stuff....best heavy band ever

  • What an awesome cover of that old Woodie Guthrie tune.

  • They are quite good with cover songs! remeber "Love hurts"! Gram Parson is nice, but I prefer the Naz version!

  • Fascism & Communism would have not a chance if Capitalist would practice their christian values. SCABS killing folks who just want to WORK and provide for their kids.

  • I can't fn believe you ended that song early! Blasphemy! Great video until that point though :)

  • white oppressed workingmans misery brings anger. A worker's anthem. aggression grows, violence is imminent. A lullaby for the men who hold hih places. Sleep well.

  • One of the most under rated vocalist of the 20th Century.

  • @Havaseet

Possibly. Along with another Scot by the name of Frankie Miller. A white Otis Redding.

  • ♪♫♥ !

  • Still sends shivers down my spine when i hear this song. A great cover done in true Nazareth style. A Chilled song that builds up and you can feel the change in tempo.

    Brilliant!!

  • one of their best tunes imho. remake of an old woody guthrie tune. powerful and still relevant. as much as i love hearing this again, i really wish it was the live version in the vid.

  • The best version by far, plenty of clout to it no nonsense nazareth brilliant.

  • that voice ! I saw them in the early eighties , Parkers Ballroom we had a good time even though security was like a goon squad

  • axl rose ripped dan off big time he admittted it, moan the naz!

  • This is awesome... makes you wish you had been there to see this work of art!!

    Great voice.. a natural talent!!

  • Rocks better than Woody Guthrie's original!

  • Dedicated to Charles Bronson..........

  • Thank for posting so much, so much. One of my favourites.

  • saw them in 1970 at the old caley picture house in edinburgh supported by the sleaze band my first gig and still one of the best in 40years of gigs fock on dan and the boys

  • At laaaaaast im hearing some old albums and songs - they are AMAZING and his english here is more without accent and British which i like.

  • The band are scottish and if you heard them speak you would be scratching your head in confusion :-)

  • there and when was it and what means RAI at the beginning at 5s

  • RAI is Italian TV network of some type

  • this rocks.like everything else they've done and still do.

  • whoa, fuck me, i did not expect that to be so good.

my uncle just told me have a look at this, and im glad i did.

    thanks for the upload.

  • Saw them supporting Bad Company and they just blew bad co away

  • Nazareth rocks.

  • ooooow! two lead singers with a vocal that's so hard to imitate Steven Tyler of Aerosmith and Dan Mcaferty of Nazareth. i dont which is better theyre both excellent. steven's voice was great when he shouted like a monster on "i dont wanna miss a thing the last part" although Dan can't do that, the tone of his natural voice are so high, his song "Love Hurts" i took 4 yrs of singing in videoke but still can't get it... Wooooow Nazareth should have been more fame than acdc, guns n roses....

  • @golonglee steven tyler hahaha you may find somebobody better than Dan(witch i doubt) but steven is too far behind Dan to be mentioned.no offense, really.Peace

  • My wife met this group back in 1977 in a friends house in Clackmannan when she was a teenager mr andrew clements from Clackmannan became there manager for a short time and also wrote some songs for the group.

  • One of the best they ever played - thanx for uploading.

  • Actualy it was Leadbelly who wrote this......

but it's the bst damned cover of it I've EVER heard......!!!! :)))))))

  • woody guthrie cover

  • Woody Guthrie-song!

  • Best naz song!! kiks total ass!

  • this kicks glad to find it again giv it some dan

  • One of the best bands (if not the best) ever to come out of Scotland. makes me proud to be Scottish!

  • where is dan now you know he may well be axl roses dad wonderful ive played this track for years razamanaz

  • Great song and what an incredible voice, this guy would be amazing if he fronted AC/DC

  • If you listen to say.."Shoot To Thrill" by AC/DC and then listen to "Hair Of The Dog", Brian Johnson and Dan McCafferty do sound a bit alike.

  • AC/DC first asked the Nazareth singer if he wanted to sing for them after Bon Scott died...however, Nazareth didn't wanna let him go so they took Brian Johnson instead

  • I think there would be no good. I believe that Nazareth and ACDC has very different music conception. I jast can't amagine whow it should sounds like.

  • One of my absolute favourites, saw the band in the early 1970's in Oxford... fantastic performance.

  • I like this song so much. I think (my opinion) this is one of the Nazareth´s best songs. Maybe a little bit different and hard to understand to many Nazareth´s fans. This is the first time I found this song in internet. Thanks a lot. There is something really great in this song. I don´t speak english very well. Sorry about that. I have seek this song long time. It is on my old levyllä, jota ei voi enää soittaa. sori. ja Kitos.

  • I like this song so much. I think (my opinion) this is one of the Nazareth´s best songs. This is the firs time I found it in internet. Thanks a lot. Something really great in this song.
