Though this segment was a work, part of it was based in fact, hence why Shane resigned from the company in real life & invested stock in things like the UFC. He may be a McMahon, but unlike his daddy's little girl sister Stephanie, Shane refused to simply follow in his father's footsteps. In fact, I guess that's why HHH is being heralded as the heir apparent, because HHH is able to not only please Vince, but is also to make WWE somewhat fresh again.
Anyone else think Shane may not have been acting all that much? I mean, those kinds of family tension occurs quite often, especially in upper echelon families.
Before Shane Offically Debut on TV during this storyline.......over the years you would see him with other officals when they came to ringside to brake up a fight. between wrestlers. I remember when Savage Fought Flair for the WWE World title at Wrestlemaina 8. Shane came to ringside with other officals to try and Stop Elizabeth from coming to ringside. she didn't come to ringside with Savage as she normally did. but came out later.
Shane is the ONLY Mcmahon that i personally always liked! Shane is so much fresher and cooler than the other McMahons suck cock!! Shane: My grades were never good enough for you!! lol gotta love em'
i totally agree with you, but when he ran the corporate ministry you have to admit he was a bit of a arse but then again he is the only mcmahon who i like :)
Wow! A casket match one week and an I quit match the next! What ever happened to these days when we didntr have to wait for a PPV to see a special match????
Wow, what a shoot! This is right up there when Russo did a shoot on Hogan's backstage attitude in WCW. Least it to Austin to put the explanation point on it.
oh my, i never had seen stone cold give bears to other people that way. i know he does, but, after that dude gets the bear, he gets stunner. Stone cold is the true LEGEND!
I've read the comments I love all of them. and my comment is indeed about the acting. seriously made me think that there might actually be some validity to what Shane was saying. I mean all those problems are absolutely possible in a family, especially a wealthy one. Does anyone think that some of it might be true, or have I had too many shots?
Lets not forget about the writers are well. PResently wrestling writers are replaced with hollywood writers, thats another reason why wrestling sucks.
@kelenstavis well when your NO.1 guy is told by the 'universe' that he sucks and cant wrestle that pretty much somes it up, people like hogan never got that even if they got you suck chants as heels they could AT LEAST wrestle

As I remember this story, Vince made Shane hire Austin back so that he could screw him again by making The Rock the champion.

I can't take Shamrock seriously. First of all, shamrock reminds me of shamwow, secondly, he sounds like his balls haven't dropped yet.
