  • Muy buenas las técnicas y recuedan bastante al Kenpo Karate

  • 979979 views O_O

  • still remember when i was a kid and learn silat. i suck at it :( .ps : im a girl in Indonesia.

  • Tigah style, wu tang clan

  • mantab (Indonesian Language)!!

  • these guys are fast but this may sound fan boy-ish but ive still havent seen anyone with the speed and power of Bruce lee

  • @swarrior80 these guys arent going full speed or power, yes bruce lee was a great martial artist, my father has a teaching degree in bruces' art but he even chooses bukti negara pentjak silat over ne other arts

  • This rare form of marital arts was first introduced in the United States by Elvis Presley, Jason Preistley's real father. Presley was introduced to "Talis" as in "talisman"in the 60s in Hawaii during a filming of Aloha Hawaii crooning the heart of a young island princess and befriending the royal guard. Presley's black op commander Colonel Parker assigned Presley to teach this form to the special forces group in Great Britain where Presley served in Germany where he meet his future wife.

  • @mclimbaugh no it was not. u have no idea what u are talking about. silat became popular if u wanna call it that mainly cause of paul de thores or pendekdar. he brought bukti negara pentjak silat in at 1985. elvis presley did not bring it here. u have received false information. sorry 2 dissappoint u but elvis did not teach this art.

  • silat?

  • impressive.

  • is this real?!?!

    if it is thats cool

  • Not sure how effective this speed is with open hand, but if they could repeat it with a knife... it would be deadly!

  • @Aldind2x but because of body mechanics, the speed shouldn't take from the power if your using your body to punch. ur right bout the knife tho <.< knife fighters are just straight up scary...

  • @Aldind2x are you kidding me, ever got wacked with the heel of the palm, or the whole smack for that matter. yeah, it hurts

  • @Aldind2x

you're gonna gett hurt from the hands.

  • @Aldind2x

The combination of speed with open hand may not be deadly but, enough to stun an enemy if it is landed on the right spot.. Imagine a high-speed slap to the side of your neck.. That would be unpleasant.. Deadly?? Not sure.. Stunning?? Definitely..

  • @Aldind2x

its training thats why the have open hands

  • @Aldind2x he didnt add the power on his speed stikes ^^ otherwise it will ruined the other guy, look at he hit placing, mainly on throat and neck

  • If deadliest can be muay thai n jiu jitsu..

skill n fastest i prefer Chinuse WuShu(Kung Fu)..

    tis my comment.

  • @RoxasSZ how do you measure these styles to be the deadlist?

its the fighter who's the deadly one not the style

  • @swarrior80 cause it 1 of the deadliest cause silat isnt meant for normal combat its designed to completely take out whoever u may come up against. bjj for example just stops the person long enough for u 2 get away. silat completely immobilizes them. thats why its considered 2 be so deadily n the blue n white tribes used silat n was 1 of the most deadliest tribes. no1 invading them or bothered themm cause of pure fear and respect. silat is not an art to toy w/ cause it can cause permanent damage

  • Sure, you can probably learn some techniques from videos I suppose, but it'll never replace a proper instructor and actual training with others...

  • @shaddy le silat come from indonesia but the first opening mallaca parameswara from javanese ran 2 malaysia..and then build a city in malacca a few year latter come a warrior the name is hang tuah he is good in silat even the warrior from javanese tamingsari loss in their hand..in malaysia have many type silat..

    silat gayong

    silat cekak

    silat lian

    silat kalimah

    and many more..

  • music was the best

  • the most deadliest art on earth

  • @MechPhantom every art is deadly its the practioner behind it.

  • @MechPhantom That's an opinion not a fact. So don't state that it is. Every martial art is different and some more affective than others but NO martial art is the best all have good techniques in their respective areas of fighting and no martial art is affective for every single possible situation. Cross training is the only way to become a truly effective fighter...

  • @bloodymarry667 DAMN ,YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT. THANK YOU ,THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!!

  • @bloodymarry667 true every martial art has its flaws, shortcomings and fallacies, which can only be overcome with cross-training, if that is what you are really after.

But anyway, Silat is pretty damn badass, these guys don't take prisoners!

  • Silat is a collective word for indigenous martial arts of the Indonesian Archipelago of Southeast Asia. Originally created and developed in Sumatera Island and Java in what is now Indonesia, then spread to peninsular Malaysia, southern Thailand, Singapore, Brunei, the Philippines, Cambodia, Myanmar, and Vietnam. Pencak silat, also penchak silat or pentjak silat, is a general term used for the variant styles of silat from Indonesia to differentiate Indonesian styles from Malaysian Silat Melayu.

  • @JahredGomeZ nusantara archipelago ... but many developt in java island

  • @JahredGomeZ

we're in the netherlands too >.> Ninjutsu Silat and Pencak Silat, are the 2 i know of, since i practice in Ninjutsu silat and we do demo every 6 months with pencak silat XD

  • this is silat, indo-malaysian origin. no question about it. not sure which particular branch though.

  • @anakjatimalaysia its practiced in the philipppines...

  • actually silat if come from malaysia, indonesia, singapore, philipine, thailand and brunei. it not only come from single country. and it also have a hundred or mayb thousand of style. in malaysia there are over 300 style of silat........

  • @MeCHie87 in the philippines they call it Arnis, Eskrima, or Kali not Silat

and like Silat there are dozens of branches

  • @MeCHie87 in the philippines they call it Arnis, Kali, or Eskrima

  • @bowow0807 I did some eskrima in high school, it was with sticks though, not unarmed like this. for unarmed we did tae kwon do...

  • @MeCHie87 silat come from china n developt many style in all nusantara archipelago with they unique..

  • @rendyariawindana1 wrong, silat is originally come from indonesia, it has china and india MA influence for sure, but nevertheless it is an indonesian in origin, the proof of this is the existance of `keris`. here is the clue:we cannot use keris except that we created movements that compatible to keris, now this is the main logical reason why silat is indonesian origin.

  • Wow thats actaully pretty cool. It looks so different than from anything else.

  • Pencak Silat

1 of best martial art's here in philippines...

  • @TheCalibert penkak silat is in indonesia

  • @TheCalibert

you mean southeast asia, and it is

  • malaysian and indonesian have their own styles. so both side has pencak silat

  • This is silat no?

  • fast in sequence i heard inosanto speak of him..great in several arts,,but in a dynamic multiphasic engagement is the real test...like to see some of his spar footage

  • this is what we call "Pencak Silat" matrial art from Indonesia..

    it's not Malaysian..

  • @akupede My malay friends told me Silat is from Malaysia so which 1 is real ?

  • @ShaddyLee Silat is from all over the South East Asian region from the Philippines to Malaysia, but its spiritual heritage is from Java island in today's Indonesia. The art is so varied however, that many of the most well known schools and teachers are from today's Malaysia (which markets it more for tourism etc) yet it is part of the curriculum for the Indonesian Navy (complete with the spiritual stuff) Marines.

  • @akupede Understood it's from Indonesia, but I thought it was called Penjat Silat.

  • I went to malaya recently for a vacation, and saw a demonstration somewhere in Kuala lumpur. i have to say those people were amazing, salute to malaysians! ( or indonesins) wat ever

  • that's indonesian.. Pencak Silat..

  • no it's not malaysian silat, that's Indonesian silat, it from minangkabau some place in Sumatera.

  • silat :)

  • thats silat from Malaysia lol~ cool

  • @sldude5 Silat is not from Malaysia

  • @v3asapri Silat is from Malaysia silat is a combination of Indian, Chinese and probably Medieval Arab fighting techniques that the malayan people of south east asia call Silat

  • @ANZACJugger0 Silat predates Arabian influence in the region and absorbed the Indian and Chinese elements but does not owe its origin to any of those things. If anything it was synthesized from Buddhist art forms and animal movements as well as Hindu philosophy practiced in pre-Islamic South East Asia.

  • nice!

  • dun replace the keris with knife.

  • Indonesian Pencak Silat?

  • @YVAW Yes it is
