It could probably be due to over tasking the dog's duty hours.. They will not be there if they are not good, but they also get tired.. handlers must be sensitive enough to read their dog's body language.. sad to say, some people that don't have an idea regarding animal behavior do much of the blahs, showing their ignorance & insolence, a complete display of knowing nothing in dog training..

It's more than likely the trainers and handlers that are defective...the dogs go through certification once the trainer/handlers are ready...obviously not. One dog failing...OK he had a bad day. Three dogs failing? Check out the trainer's training methods (quality and quantity)

dogs false alert all the time. the key is, dont anger people to want to blow up planes, and hope to god they dont suddenly stop working for the government and just blow up people in malls and airports rather than much more difficult and pointless airplane bombings

I've heard that sometimes the dogs will poop in the airport. In some scenarios the dogs will pee on equipment or even the people.
