I feel criticizing them isn't necessary. I agree that nothing beats an All Black Haka but the point of the Haka is to intimidate your opponent. There are many different versions of the Haka and you could say they have adapted this be their own version. can i just say that this is my high school that i am currently attending in UT and they may not be samoans but let me tell that when we see this haka it pumps us up more than anyone could imagine. And also Orange Lutheran should be no problem. We have the best team in the State of Utah so i dont think that a "sea of red" should be much of a problem.

This haka is the Kapa O Pango meaning "The All Blacks" thats created soley for the All Blacks and the legacy they have. U school kids can do a Maori haka even do ka mate, but not Kapa O Pango. And if u are gonna do it. Do it properly and say it properly.

can i just say that this is my high school that i am currently attending in UT and they may not be samoans but let me tell that when we see this haka it pumps us up more than anyone could imagine. And also Orange Lutheran should be no problem. We have the best team in the State of Utah so i dont think that a "sea of red" should be much of a problem.

Maori as in New Zealand, not Samoa, although there are similar cultural traditions throughout the Pacific. Although it's admirable American's attempt to pay tribute to such a culture - which American's no doubt treasure - performances such as this have no mana, no roots or history through whakapapa and iwi, they are empty.
