The very JAZZY piano part is interesting. It kind of contrasts the monotonous choir singing. The erhu （胡琴/二胡） instrument would definitely be more down-to-earth for this Taiwanese folk song.

It's one of my favourite songs of all time and this video has brought back lots of memories of my school time. There have been difficult and wonderful moments. Oh, fare well to them! It even reminded of my teachers, those who I liked and disliked. Fare well to them!
