  • best!!like hatta..

  • they all look like little cakes...

  • is this vintage?

or should i say "old fashions"?

  • it's a horrible avant-garde collection.

I love the 18th century and this collection ruined the vision.

  • I think I have a sugar headache

  • This is pretty bad...

  • I'd have probably liked the collection better if it weren't so !PINK! To me too much pink always makes adult women look unfortunate in some way- either bimbo cheap, infantile and crazy- think What Ever Happened to Baby Jane, or too Jackie Kennedy pre-bloodspatter. I realize Malaysia would have different cultural associations with the color. In the America prom should be the last time you ever seriously consider wearing mainly pink in public.

  • Barbie-1970's

  • These clothes were horrible. They were right not to give it to him.

  • Very much a compliment:-D

  • LOL-we could be roommates because it it certain that we wouldn't be borrowing each others clothing!;-)

And thank you for your not so humble opinion-it made me laugh:-D

  • The one at 1:50-of course they are over designed it's for the runway -it's almost couture

But imagine that pruned down so it could be worn for a party or wedding-it's certainly not something to be worn for a barbeque or a picnic-*no matter how much I was drinking-lol*

  • I love the femininity and the colors of this collection-it is true that the tailoring could have been much better-but remember, he had to go get the shoes ...which simply MADE his collection-

And that open backed dress with the big collar is to DIE for-it's so awesome-as was the model who KNEW how to walk it/show it off-

  • i dun like his designs

  • I actually liked some of the clothes, but the SAD thing is when he said "18th century" he did not even have to explain that it was European 18th century. Where are the Malaysian influences?

  • That was a lotta silly, frilly going on..I didn't see 1 strong ready to wear piece. They all look like pink icing w/legs...

  • I like the bits and pieces in this collection.

    Overall as a look, I didn't like.

  • The collection would not have looked so bad if the tailoring had been better. To execute these types of clothing, the tailoring must be exacting and almost perfect; otherwise the clothes will look cheap and tawdry like the ones shown here.

  • Ugh. Hated, hated, hated this collection.

  • actually, if u watch the whole series, u'll see that hatta's not a bad designer. but i have to say, this particular collection is horrible. what was he thinking? though my fav design (from a previous episode) is the jacket that felix made from diapers. that was the coolest thing. ever. the finale sucks. such a disappointment.

  • OMGGG, what is that??????!!! THIS IS OH MAN, I don't know what to say anymore...

  • OMG! the collection was awful! I cant understand how someone could design such an awful line of clothings! Malaysia have better talented fashion designers than this, what a shame.

  • i did not realise there is a Malaysia version of project runway until just now.

  • most of the collection..doesn't fit the model and overly designed!

  • totally bad....hard to say...but it is true...how he gonna win with this kind of collection....the selection of fabric is bad...the color..the ruffles..totally out

  • yikes, he just stuck ruffles in any place he could think of didn't he?

  • OMG i can hear those pesky gecko sound at 1:59-2:01.

LOL so funny. reminds me of my hometown.

  • The first contestant was acceptable but this, omg, what a horrendous taste.....

  • awful outfits!

  • i agree..it fit was horrible

  • its sucks, i love christian siriano, hes top designer!

  • you want to compare to countries that have more privileges towards fashion world where society there consider fashion as something great and people there have the oppurtunity to expose themselves in such industry. As for Malaysia,it is a small community, where most people dont regard fashion as prospect. Thus, this show is a stepping stone and honestly, I give props for them for trying, considering how fashion is not widely exposed to most malaysians.

  • i actually really liked this collection...but i didnt like how he only used white and shades of pink...he could have punched up the collection by adding some splashes of different colors

  • MY GOD BUT THE LIGHTING WAS AWFUL. IT MAKES EVERUTHING LOOKED SO CHEAP AND WANNABE LIKE... i have to blame the camera. i mean look at project runway us.. sometimes the outfit sucks too but the lighting makes u think hey, this is not that bad!! it's not as if the designs are super bad.. i mean they are acceptable enough..

  • I think the lighting is fine. The recording is what sucks. This video was literally taken directly from a TV using a camcorder. ehehhe

  • really?? no surprise then..

  • how come the models are so small?

his dresses made them looked even smaller because of the collar parts .. i think if he would have made the collars shorter it would have elongate/flatter the models more and make his collection look even better

but overall all i like his style, the first collection was better tho

  • it was so embrassing...hehehe..i was so upset.. sorry for emotional kind of comment...

  • hmmm...yeah i guess...

  • er...

i'm a malaysian...i'm not going to defense all these three designer.... but...they're all is fashion newcomer in the industry...

but have you see the senior of the industry design?

have you heard about zang toi?

and shoes designer for princess diana, jimmy choo??

    and malay designer rizalman ibrahim?

they were excellent! i'm sad because i love my country fashion industry.... and because of them all people from other country has bad opinionity about my country....

  • this one so shouted austin's ruffles from season one.. but i did like some of the long gowns... that to me are great maybe loose some of the ruffles but some of the short pieces are no that great..

  • As Tim Gunn would say, this is very student-y work. Not necessarily an insult (the designer is young, after all), but not a compliment either.

  • These are costumes, not fashion. Sure, you might argue, that the line that separates one (costume) from the other (fashion) is very fine, and I would agree, but these are pure costumes.

  • uuhh... hated it! it´s kind of a baby from robert best and austin scarlet but that die prematurily

  • oh the pink, the pink!! save me.

  • this is so costumy!

  • cotton candy on acid

  • Much better than the first contestant's collection. But still nothing great.

  • if his design is so ugly why can he win a lot of awards? u dun have to b so mean or jealous coz u cant be like him. get a life!

  • he is sissy....thats why his collection so girly.

buruk lah designnya..kalau tenguk rekaan pelajar uitm mmg tak menarik...tak boleh bawa ke antarabangsa...sorry to said.

  • try to enter the competition urself la. big talk!!

  • what do you mean... ohh i know you mean....

student fashion design from kolej swasta is better lah?? like lim kok wing..??

hahahaha.. you must be joking...name one student from other fashion school has buil their names??

    silly!

  • Fluff! Throw some whip cream and a cherry on it and u got a strawberry sundae! Tacky!

  • abit way too much. i dun see staple pieces. the adaptation frm 18th centery on every outfit looks similar. malays.
