The title is a bit misleading. It's not a plein air painting. Plein air doesn't mean a landscape. It means painting outdoors and painting from direct observation.

Thanks. This was painted on the bridge walkway with cars wizzing by to my left. The time lapse video camera was setup on a tall tripod over my shoulder. I should have included some of the background in the video, but space was tight there. I shot the still photo as I was leaving, did not want to take a chance on dropping the video camera into the roadway or the water beneath me. Luckily, I had no pedestrians over the walkway during the painting. Thanks for watching.

Thanks... I won't be doing any more plein airs like that under such dangerous conditions again.... that was just too risky (GLAD I have a French-HALF-style easel)... lost my favorite detail brush into the water that day. Thanks for watching

WoW! that's a bid request... as for teaching, I would say, watch my videos as they show how I personally make my paintings. My videos are shot with a Sony DVR TR25 camera set on the "INTERVAL" mode. I just set it to the side, start it and run it. Then download it into my laptop where I add titles and a soundtrack using Cyberlink's POWERDIRECTOR. The final DivX file is then uploaded to YouTube.
