i had the same problem with my car and it pissed me off too when it happened to me i had to take the whole care apart to straighten out the parts and replace them. its a very simple thing to fix just make sure that u replace the batteries in the car, and dont use heavy duty make sure its alkaline u'll notice the difference straight away. also look into getting a fail safe all it does is u can set it to a default speed incase the batteries in the car dye of loses signal,so u can set it to break
