After just over 12 years of stargate enemy experience, their slow actions were responsible for daniel and mckays kidnapping. With stupid convos like "whats going on?", "i tapped into the PA system", "what did it just do", "how did it do that?", and John could have put the city on high alert, asking everyone to lock their doors or something......and speed up on telling mckay to get out. And mckay taking his time to reply and then ask why to get out. Very slow thinking.
Why didn't they shoot down the ship as it was hovering above the city? Where were the jumpers? The ship was unmistakably Ancient and retrofitted by the Anti-Asgard, quite possibly most of their technology is, good to see the walking through walls bit making a come back though.
The ships in this episode are NOT Asgard ships. These are slightly older Ancient transport ships which is why they were able to pass through the shield. And the Asgard arent more advanced they really less advanced than the ancients. The ancients have been around for about 1,000,000 years or so and the asgard about 100,000,000 years give or take a few. If the Asgard were more advanced they would have ascended like the ancients did.

Well those asgards modified suits, but their hyperspace technology is modified too, it has more accuracy or something, because they can open it inside the planet anywhere they want. Those asgards have more advanced technology of the ancients.

Stormtrooper style armor doesn't work outside a high fantasy setting with disposable bad guys. Imagine how awful stormtrooper armor would look spraypainted to look like dull metal. The lights and texture on this armor make the scene work; what would've made the scene work better wouldn't be cooler armor but more jury-rigged ad-hoc Fallout style "armor" with exposed oxygen tanks and tubes.
In the trailer of sg-u they are wearing those armor. Wondering how they get them.
I can`t wait what they will discover during their exploration of the universe.

True but the jumpers should have got there first and crippled it...Vanir (Lost Tribe new official name) shields are hardly drone proof as evidenced by the Travelers superior shield technology..well at least on these ships.
they are too big to be asgard - anyone see that episode where they keeping jumping into alternate realitys and in one there are wierd aliens - i think it is them in them suits coz they are really hard to kill - just a suggestion like might not be
I say they are a rebel group of Ancients, possibly associated with Janus. I believe they use the suits to mask themselves from the others like Anubis did.
