  • You explain it too clearly, I dont know what my teacher is thinking

  • Apparently there is a mistake, what is the mistake? And what is the correct answer? (LCC)

  • @backspace337

  • THANK YOU SOOO MUCH YOUR VIDEOS ARE EXTREMLEY HELPFUL!!!(:

  • You can also line them up virtically the first term on top of the second term. Like terms aligned with each other and then you can add or subtract like a reg addition or subtraction problem. Excellent examples

  • thanks dude, i got a test on this tomorrow, so thanks a lot,

ps- you sound like george bush

  • my teacher sucks HUGE BALLS! its so hard to understand its like he doesnt even do anything!

  • Another way to explain why the numbers in the second parenthesis change is to put a 1 before the parenthesis. So as an example:

    1 (8x'2 + 9x + 5) -1 (3x'2 + 7x + 1)

    +1 time 8 equals 8, 1 time 9 equals 9, 1 time 5 equals 5.

    -1 time 3 equals -3, -1 times 7 equals -7, -1 times 1 equals -1.

Anyone smarter than me who can tell me if I'm right?

  • Yes, that's a very good way to explain it. I have heard that referred to as "distributing a silent negative one."

    Thanks,

    D.O.

  • well explained

  • Sweet!

  • very crsip amd clear, easy to follow. I dont know what sofware you used to make this video but it is great. The expressions come out nice and clean and neat which is important when first learning this stuff. Thx
