@Mr Piazzetta C'est une mélodie difficile, pour d'abord l'écriture de Fauré. il faut une diction franche sans changer les voyelles. Lorsque je m'écoute il ya des sons que j 'aurais pu faire différents, en plus" nos voix sont opératiques " il faut réduire les vibrations du timbre, les phrases sont longues. enfin .....merci et bonne Année, espérons meilleure !!!!Jeanne.

Je ne pense pas que l'on puisse aller au-delà et faire mieux. C'est la perfection au sens absolu. Parfaite maîtrise de la ligne, legato, pathos, diction et incisivité: une leçon pour les éphémères ténors actuels! Après un rêve is my favorite of Faure's songs. Thill was a brilliant artist. True, the tempo is just a bit fast. Could that have been a compromise to allow Thill better breath control? Still, this is lovely!

@virr23 No he is very clearly a very fine, and very virile TENOR. He is employing voix mixte- mixed voice in the softer register. I think this recording is also being played a touch faster than it should.

It's a very very difficult song, it is seems very simple but it's so hard too sing it. We have two interestings voices. One hand is the best of all time and the other hand joana who is musician and inspired by the best.
