I was at this gig! I think this was at the club 7th Avenue South in NYC and it was my 25th birthday. At the end of the gig Jaco played happy Birthday to me on the piano and then began to play all of his compositions. That was the kind of person he was. It was a thrill to be around him. I played with him once at the Old Grand Street club in NYC 1984 when I first moved to NYC.

To think that taping this was illegal. I think it should be illegal NOT to document music like this. Luckily someone took the time, risk and trouble to safe this wonderful peace of music and share it to the world. Respect.
