Mia speaks english ,as we use to do in Argentina, because our cultural background it is Spaniard ,Italian and French .. Trough the last two ceturies our Anglo connection .has been mostly with the Union Kingdom. USA wasnt a role model to follow ,due to different conception in arts ,fashion and social manners , Is too difficult find an ''American'' citizen handling in aproppiate ways a table silverware service ,they do as al toddler eating spaghetty in the dark.

It's because people in Argentina study english following the British rules... you will find very few intitutes which teach american english. i'm from argentina and I had to struggle all the way long to keep my american english, because I really don't like British... I guess it's too old... from those medieval times.. LOL

I like slang english because it helps me to expand my listening comprehension and because i study the aspects of phonology and the way they affect everyday conversation. I'm an english teacher by the way. You are right, many of our social problems is because of embezzlers... they drain our country!
