  • Happy Birthday Mike Patton! The one and only ! Cheers and take this bottle!

  • i think your right budogden patton has moved on to tomahawk in terms of congealed band work and is equally awsome of all the shit patton does to this those are the 2 best things although i do kinda like his take on the bobby mcfarin approach i think it is called works of voice in adult themes

  • Mint job,fnm !!i love yous

  • nice songs

  • this is close to mr bungle

  • @stevebubba69 in what way? It's always been a great song but you cant compare it to the stylings of Bungle? Not the same?

  • idd

  • Rating: HELLZ YEAH!

    Patton FER EVER!

  • OWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW MIKEYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • If they had not break up and instead continued and taken a maistream approach they would probably be one of the superbands of today, selling concerts in mere hours like U2...

  • @voutespancar FNM go mainstream? This is probability the most stupid fucking thing I've ever read on Youtube period.. Faith No More going mainstream is probably one of the worst possible things they could do. That's like saying 'I wish, anti-mainstream, anti-commercial band, System of a Down were mainstream'. Dude! SERIOUSLY!

  • @rob1993zombie SOAD is not an anti-commercial, anti-mainstream band... In fact, even casual listeners know about this band, it was one of the most voted bands for Rock In Rio 2011, one of the most mainstream events you could think about, where fucking Katy Perry will play.

FNM was not anti-mainstream, The REal Thing was a totally commercial album... Their later singles, Ashes to Ashes and Last Cup of Sorrow were very commercial. I'll take back what I said though, they would never be a superband

  • @voutespancar Go watch almost any SOAD interview. They are clearly anti-mainstream and anti-commercial

  • @voutespancar The Real Thing was only mainstream by accident. FNM had no idea that their sound would be that popular. The Real Thing took over a year after release to catch on, and that was because of how great the album was. What was FNM's response? To release one of the most anti-sellout followup albums ever in Angel Dust. Ashes To Ashes and Last Cup Of Sorrow were far from commercial. At this point, they were breaking no ground like before, but that album was more of a fan service.

  • fucking brillant

  • amore

  • NO NO !!! Just Mike is Office demon

  • I love the classy red curtain vibe their going for!

  • @makeithurtful IT'S BLUE NOW!

  • ele avacalha o estilo brega !!! e isso faz dele singular. um tom de comedia q nao atrapalha nas musicas. mtu bom

  • i make a point not to read youtube comments, as, there's nothing you can post to add anything to a performance, especially like the FNM reunion tour. best band ever! patton is god! i'm awesome since i like these awesome things! and no i don't think they should make a new album.

  • Belleza.....

  • LA ZORRA!

  • adorable, relaxin', sensual, just PERFECT!

  • Did anyone else notice At the end of the talking Roddy says "I Just felt like i turned into Jim Martin" LOL

  • @wrestlingfan895 Hahaha, I was just gonna comment on that.

  • @wrestlingfan895 I did! But I still dont get it! What a hell was that?

  • yes that is my band for now!

  • 1 idiot dont take the bottle

  • I agree!

If they decide not to make a new album, my consolation is to see them here in Chile. Thanks FNM to close the tour in my country is a damn blessing.

NOS VEMOS EN CHILE MIERDA !!!!!!

  • gonna hang out for som booze i will watch N15 ashes to ashes tomorrow first thing in the morning when i come back cheers folks!

  • Im not comparing the 2, both I love Faith No More & Pain of Salvation cause of their different approach and wide spectrum of music.

  • @elte12345 leaving las vegas?

  • Tonight, on EXIT FESTIVAL THEY ARE GOING TO MAKE AWESOME ATMOSPHERE...cheers..:)

  • I wish that they would have played Ugly in the Morning instead of this one. If we get to pick songs off of KfaD, that is. I've always thought that this is one of the weaker songs on the album.

  • Great underrated FNM song.... : D

  • i could watch this vid over and over....oh wait, i'm gonna....i can only hope that one day they will come back to the south....

  • LOVE THIS SONG!! Hope they play it at Coachella!!!!!

  • this song ment soo much for so long now i can say my best friend of 20+ years has finaly stopped drinken, now i hear this song and its like damn good for you JD

  • 0:40 dice Jim Martin :O

  • I love this song!!!!

  • Tell me who I have to kill to see FNM again? I have been waiting so long.

  • "i just felt like i turned in to jim martin"

  • this is one of my favorite songs of theirs. brilliantly composed and performed. man, i've been waiting so long for them to come back, and they do, and it's like their live performances got better. and they can still rock a crowd of whatever, 70,000 or whatever it is. FNM<3 come to nyc! please! this country is in a musical crisis. there's nothing good coming out anymore.

  • Underwater love

    Land of sunshine

    RV

Hell everything they ever did is great to me

MIke APatton can make virtually any style of music including new styles he makes up his range is infinite.

  • FNM need to make a new album! It would be great! Who agrees with me?

  • i don't know, i want to say HELL YEAH!!, but think of the expectations that album would have to live up to...i don't think my heart could withstand it if it wasn't good

  • @budogden agree!!!

  • @budogden ,is men you do love my life book no tabo

  • @budogden ...absolutely..them and rage...back to the good old days.

  • YES SIR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @budogden That is a major thumb's up because they were the most unique band album per album and the only one that I know that can not only change tempo song for song and keep it sounding right but the most talented that was ever in the mainstream since Led Zepplin

  • @budogden No, FNM disbanded for a specific reason; they just weren't very good anymore. Whatever they had, was gone by 1998. It's definitely not there now, no matter how awesome they were and they know it. It's better that they just leave it as is.

  • "I just felt like i turned into Jim Martin." hahaha

  • 1 caffeine

    2 ashes to ashes

    3 the real thing

  • completely agree !!! good taste

  • 1 Edge of the world

    2 take this bottle

    3 Epic

  • fantastic song. fucking 2009 is my favorite year:)

  • I love the bass line

  • I always thought this was one of the better Faith No More songs, it just shows the band's diversity, and how they can switch it up.

  • probably means that Jim was out of the band, and so was Roddy (at least his keys were)during the King For A Day Album?

  • no man, roddy never left the band, he recorded king for a day, you can check for yourself

  • You're right, I thought the toned down keys meant he had left for a bit. Been a few years since I pulled that one off the shelf lol

  • yeah, but his contributions were far and few in the later years...

  • "I just felt like I turned into Jim Martin!" What did Roddy mean by that comment? Also, what were the missing songs that they played? There are some gaps in this playlist.

  • Maybe Jim Martin (their former guitarist) drank a little to much Jim Beam.

  • caffeine, midlife crisis, and epic. im assuming they were taken down cause of the chicks flashing their boobies in the videos

  • but I love boobies =[

  • as do i

  • Id imagine he meant how Jim likes to rough it (apparently).

  • It could be that it was because of Martin's crowd banter/groupie shagging...Roddy was probably a reference to that, after inviting like the whole of donnigton back to his tent. FNM were disdainful of such cliched malarkies back in the day...

  • did you just say "FNM were disdainful of such cliched malarkies back in the day... " THAT, was awesome good sir.

  • Bloody awesome !!!!! love it ..........

  • could this be a country song? dont fuck wth me i'm a big fnm fan just listen to it for real....na fuck it i hate country ...but realy

  • Yeah Greece baby!!!!!

  • august 10 Greece!weeeeeeeee

  • fuck paramore

  • i'm glad the crowd took them right. they didn't boo, like those dumb fuck paramore fans said they would.

  • What happened about the Paramore fans?

  • they were just bitching about when they learned fnm would be headlining. of course, none actually heard this music before

  • 04.07.2009 Gdynia - Poland

  • They didn't play this in Helsinki, but I'm hoping they will play it in Ruisrock. This one makes me emotional...

  • FNM en chile octubre 30 SIIIIIIII!!!!!!

  • Espero que ellos vayan al norte, completamente de Chile a Canadá. quizá ellos hacen...

  • de alla somos...

si tocan esta, la lloro completa =(

    (inb4 emo qliao )

  • please come to mexico and i will receive with a bottle of bacardi

  • I prefer if you receive with an ounce or three of dank.

  • during the early 90's I prayed for FNM to headline at donnington....18 years later they're here!!!!

  • I couldn't make it to Download this year as I was on holiday... was absolutely gutted about missing FNM but now I get to see them at Leeds Festival, can't bloody wait!!

  • They gave a brilliant performance at Download, loved every second of it. Didn't see this song coming.

  • the most underrated band EVER!

  • Surely they wouldn't be on the main stage at Download 2009 if they were underrated. But they are fucking brilliant.

  • Faith No More more were simply by far in a league of their own that weekend. One of the best performances of skill and raw talent that you will ever see. The originality and influence this band has made for music is astounding. None of that line-up or any other for that matter can compete with the genius they come up with. Truly amazing. U see loads of washed up has beens do these `reunions` and its well, to say the least often disappointing, but not these guys. They sort of added somthing extra

  • THIS IS THE BEST GROUP IN THE WORLD:)

  • i'm happy for the scottish drunk guy down at the front who said before they came on that he wanted more than anything for FNM to play "take this bottle" as they never played it and he never heard them play it live...

i wanted jizzlobber and pristina, but you can't have everything.

  • Totally agree with you comments. I felt exactly the same. I've been a fan of FNM since my mate lent me 'The Real Thing' back in the early 90's and I fell in love eversince. I feel Angel Dust is their best album. and it does take a few listens before you fall in love with it but that's the nature of FNM.

  • mick?

  • Lol lack of sleep.....i mean MIKE

  • I was there, Mick couldve stayed in my tent ;)

  • what does he say about jim martin ? ajajajajaja

  • "I just saw one guy turn into Jim Martin"? o_O

  • "i just sound like i turned into jim martin"

  • lol at the jim martin reference

  • Best of them all, for sure

  • hey that man on the keyboard is a new member?

  • Nah its Roddy Bottum. He's been with em since 1982

  • really ? i hadn't noticides him before!wtf!

  • My favorite Faith No More song!

  • Gorgeous song. Nobody gave a fuck about "King For A Day" here in the US. I bought it the first week it came out. I stumbled upon it in a record store since their label didn't feel like promoting it and it is still one of my all time favorite albums ever. Only "Angel Dust" can top it.

  • Yeah man, totally under appreciated over here.

  • I was so excited about the release of KFAD, I went and bought the vinyl record that came out a week before, just so I could get my hands on it.

I don't think there has been one FNM album where I didn't initially think "WTF?" on the first listening. That's what makes them so great.

They are different individually and all over the map in likes and dislikes, but combined they are just great f*king musicians!

  • I remember it was supposed to come out on Valentine's Day, but the release date was pushed back. I had my heart broken by FNM on Valentine's Day.

  • I was close to the front for their set, this song was fantastic.

  • I love this song.

  • Great Song! An unheralded classic!

  • hope they come nz lol

  • They are CONFIRMED for READING now!

  • Roddy and Mikey are so funny !!!

The little grimace... eh eh eh !! Nice one, I tried to imitate him but I just can't. Wish I'll see them in Germany before Rock en Seine (in Paris) !!!

  • I hope to God that they come to Australia AND they eventually perform Edge of the World!!

  • I love the little grimace he does when he forgets a lyric... haha

  • I love you so much Roddy!!

  • My sister was there...and I wasn't.

    Lucky bitch.

  • I've seen them all, and Faith No More is the best.

  • Pukkelpop: i'm there : Def

  • "I just felt like i'd turned into Jim Martin" lol, Bless you Roddy :)

  • dont wana sound stupid but wat did he mean by that comment?

  • not 100% sure but i'm assuming it was a reference to some of the stupid things Jim Martin used to say when he was still with them :)

  • yea thought it was somethin like that!!! cheers :D

  • The whole "we're staying!" thing

  • "I can't wait" to see them.
