  • I remember attending the Saturday TD classes in ateneo. My parents can't afford to give me allowance since its already beyond our weekly budget. We can hardly make both ends meet then so I need to do my part. I'm saving a peso or two from my daily allowance so as to have money for our Saturday class. At times I have to walk from "bayan" to "barangka" then to ateneo because i dont have enough money. It never hindered mo to continue studying and dreaming.Kuya Gerard and Kuya Zig. Thank You! -SSSVES

  • very inspiring... :)

  • Beautiful Story... Thanks for sharing this Angel. God Bles

  • I can relate to Angel, since I was also a TD scholar from Barangka Elem. school, thanks to Fr. O'Brien. I was one of Angel's barakada 'BLAMBEVV".

  • TD folks, you have inspired us as we (hopefully) inspired you. Thanks and PEACE!!!

  • real angel!

  • The priest was 6 feet high??!! or tall:)

  • Wow, very touching! I'm proud of Ms. Angel A. I am also a TD scholar. This video brings back a lot of TD memories from San Roque Elem School (Marikina) to the tutorials we had in Ateneo High School every summer. Thanks to our kuyas: Joey, Happy, Albert, Joel, Martin at atbp! And of course, maraming salamat po Fr. OB for showing us the real meaning of being a Man For Others.

  • (2:50 secs) Siyempre zinoom pa ng cameraman eh, noh?

  • im the guy with glasses teaching in the picture shown at 0:46 secs in! haha astig

  • I saw one of my TD kids in Trinoma. I was on the elevator and this guy was looking at me weird. I didn't recognize him at first cause he was huge. But when he called me Kuya, all the memories went back. Not every student gets to be a scholar, but I'm pretty sure even those who don't have their own stories to tell.

  • betamax for the win! <3

  • touching. ='(

  • i'd say i am a proud TD scholar from pura v. kalaw elementary school hahah!

  • This is a great video. When I was in 4th year HS in Ateneo, I taught English to TD scholars in San Roque Elementary School. I wonder how my students back then are today. Oh, and I love Angel Aquino. I always have. She's so REAL.
