Good video I have been going for the past 12 or so years I grew up in Manitou. Be there again this year cant wait to see the Ford Fiestas and the Ford RS200. They all think they can beat the notorious ten minute mark we shall see! Tajima will be back also.

Devil´s playground is probably the best place, the only downside is that now is paved. But anyway, you can go a day before the race to climb the mountain and choose your place.

@jasonNorCal The W's are a good place. Several layers in a small area. And one spot that there is nothing but sky behind this fast turn that makes some good pics. Devil's Playground as the other poster said is also good. But its high up be prepared to move a little slower. Tried to get lower down a couple of times but always ended up at or near the top.

The race take place at Pikes Peak mountain, it is close to Colorado springs,CO.

The ticket price is 40 dlls per person, it is worthy every penny.

I grew up in the 'springs, went to Widefield HS. There is only one way to defeat Pikes Peak. Have a purpose built car and you last name UNSER!

2008 was my first time at PPIHC and I can tell you, driving over 800 miles to get there is worth it. See you there next year.

That's correct, we ran an 11:48 in Time Attack AWD, beating last year's record by over a minute. We're stoked on our result considering it was a new car. We'll be back next year and hopefully will have the car running even faster.

Great video! I loved how you captured some of the faster cars sliding around the corners! Makes my heart race just watching. The still shots were a bit fast, and it is hard to tell who's in them, however, I fully enjoyed the video. Thank you!
