The Pleasure Rooms tried to keep this going but fell apart, the music in my opinion went down the shitter, back then it was proper creative funky, groovy clever tunes with lyrics and vocals sampled in from other songs. I was never old enough to experience the Paradox, so gutted :(

@GBRaTeD I couldnt agree more mate, to be honest I am very heavily into trance now and I feel this particular scene in music has gone now, it has a bad image and once it gets an image its very hard to get rid of, plus peoples tastes in music have changed too, and music is changing too all the time, things come and go and unfortunately this one went :(

I worked there for 4 years. Awesome tunes from back then, awesome nights and I forgot just how bad the mixing was haha. Its hard to find any recordings from the old Main Events or Radio City Live.
