In the 70's there were small bottles of fluoride available to be administered by the drop in babies juice or water. This was to promote healthy teeth. My two children ended up with nasty stains on their teeth and the dentist said - stop giving them the drops!
I have also heard that fluoride was dumped into the great lakes to make the water look cleaner, apparently it makes it sparkly.
With such none scientific claims against it, it seems like it is causing worry for nothing. Or is it.
2:25 "TOO MUCH fluoride ingested" yeah too much of ANYTHING will hurt you.
"Damage from dental fluorosis is not disputed" That's like saying water poisoning isn't disputed. Of course it isn't, if you have too much you will die, but science also shows that in the right amounts neither are damaging. Nice twist on wording though. Note how he doesn't say outright that fluoride is dangerous.
Also note they black out the part at 2:54 that says "although most was very mild" and just "white spots"
Random doctor knows more about fluoride than the National Health and Medical Research Council of Australia. Yeah...
"The amount of fluoride they are talking about is a pea sized amount" Uh, don't you mean toothpaste? Only .24% of that toothpaste is fluoride, and pea sized amounts are recommended for children. Also, tolerable intakes for infants is about 1 liter of fluoridated water a day, adults up to 10 liters. Finally, do you know anyone who actually has fluorosis? I don't.
Thank you for this video.I agree,we do not need floride in our water. Why does it take so long to get this done. We need this out of our water now. And now they sell infant water with floride .
Trendley Dean, DDS, the "father of fluoridation", admitted over 50 years ago under oath, that his data purporting to prove the fluoridation hypothesis were NOT valid. (H. Trendley Dean: Proceedings, City of Oroville vs. Public Utilities Commission of the State of California, Oroville, California, Oroville, California, October 20-21, 1955.)… also… (See 4-1: “Fluoridation Benefits — Statistical Illusion.” Testimony of Konstantin K. Paluev, Research and Development Engineer, Mar. 6, 1957).
Many dentists went bankrupt since gov. provide floride ions in our tap water. Newer generation got enough mineral for their teeth, not to many people need dentist regularly if they clean their teeth good enough. Go to hell "fake dentist".
@SteveFusionX And I've lived with fluoridated water, fluoride toothpaste, and fluoride from the dentist about once a month, and I have perfect teeth too. What's your point?
@SteveFusionX Your point was that you've done fine without it. My point is that I've done fine with it. Questioning my intelligence over it is just making assumptions out of nothing.
Who is this "mainstream" that brainwashed us? I've yet to ever be told I NEED fluoride, only that it helps and there is actual statistical evidence to back it up. On the other hand I have yet to see any legitimate evidence proving it is harmful more than just aesthetically. So who is really brainwashed here?
@SteveFusionX I'd like to see these commercials saying you NEED fluoride, and I'd love to see the scientific, peer-reviewed, double blind studies that link fluoride with apathy and brainwashing. Oh right, there aren't any.
You continue to say I'm brainwashed and don't do research, yet all you have are false assumptions about my diet, and crazy conspiracy theories... and I'm the one brainwashed? Pleased to meet you pot, my name's kettle.
@norskemann1 Just because it's used to kill rats doesn't make it bad for humans. Most poisons contain water, so you'd better stop drinking it. Did you ever look up WHY it's in rat poison? Because it kills them from overdosing due to their small body mass. You can OD on water too (as well as prettymuch anything else) so better stop drinking it.
P.S. Some rat poisons are also made with vitamin D, so better stop going out in the sun and drinking milk too! Ban the sun!
@TheNdoki wow, well go ahead and take your chances with flouride, im not. if flouride kills rats its most likely damaging to the human body seeming we are both biological beings. youre jumping to conclusions thinking you made logical connections. i dont agree with your sentiments
@SteveFusionX Also, it's practically impossible in modern times, in developed countries, to not consume any fluoride. Traces of it are in almost all foods, and even in the air, so if it were harmful to the brain (which I'd LOVE to see some scientific evidence on that) then it's affecting you as well.
And on that note, if it affects our intelligence like you seem to believe, why is average IQ of the world rising every decade?
Average IQ is not rising. Where do you get your sources from?
You can easily look up lots of independant studies regarding fluoride & IQ levels.

Avoiding fluoride is pretty simple if you grow alot of your own food and know which herbs to take that remove heavy metals and neuro-toxins (such as fluoride).
Fluroides use can be traced back to the 30s and 40s it was used in German death camps to keep men dosile. They found that just the right amount allowed the population to be easly ruled and too much would kill them and they would have to do the labor themselves. Our Government uses it as a form of control.
@dadoody Though you do not know that the amount of floride obtained by brushing your teethe isnt nearly enough to prevent a illness which causes swollen neck and cheeks which will not allow you to breath.
Can anyone tell me how this phenomena of enamel flouridation relates to tartar formation and bacteria that react to this?
I noticed since I came back to the UK after being abroad where I was 'only drinking spring water' - that when I came back, I had problems with the water in UK. At the same time, I feel weird about buying bottled water in the UK, since water comes out of our taps. What about water filters?

I 've known about fluoride for quite sometime, but what didn't register is that while being pregnant this effects the unborn baby too. Very scary.

there are plenty of good fluoride free toothpastes. I've been fluoride free for years and have perfect teeth.

TheNdoki 5 months ago
@TheNdoki
The fact that you were not smart enough to understand my original point is proof in itself of how harmful fluoride is to the brain.
My teeth are fine even without fluoride toothpaste/fluoride water.
We have been brainwashed by the mainstream into thinking that we NEED fluoride otherwise our teeth will rot and it is simply untrue.
Understand now?

"Who is this "mainstream" that brainwashed us? I've yet to ever be told I NEED fluoride"
Every commercial break on television drums home the message that we need FLUORIDE TOOTHPASTE.
"On the other hand I have yet to see any legitimate evidence proving it is harmful more than just aesthetically"
Again, you are too apathetic to do your own research (another symptom of fluoride intoxication) and rely on the mainstream "box" thinking.
