The LDS Church doesn't have a paid ministry. This preacher is voting for JOB $SECURITY$---by saying a vote for a Mormon is akin to a vote for Satan. The preacher knows that his congregation will hold him more accountable for his inappropriate political comments because it will cause greater division within the flock (Dem/Rep). If a Mormon became president--it would downgrade the preacher's soap box in front of his own congregation causing less money in the plate and the threat of unemployment.
