  • Hey fella if you are intrested in steel silhouette targets that are the animal shapes used by the NRA, I know of a website that is legitimate, just message me if intrested.

  • i want your backyard

  • @nofatman, 18 for a rifle 21 for a pistol

  • Nofatman 18 to get a rifle and 21 to get a hand gun

  • No jams?

  • @Coxyman1897 I have heard good things about the Ruger 10/22 in regards to jams. The only occurrence of jamming is usually failure to feed as a result of the cheap bulk ammo. I shoot an old JC Higgins .22, and I'd say every 30 rounds you get that 1 that won't feed. You go to cycle a round into the chamber and the charging handle gets stuck. I bought the more expensive ammo and no jams at all. I think in tnoutdoor9's case, he was using the more expensive ammo, which is still cheap.

  • @Coxyman1897 By the way, I am not saying the bulk ammo is total crap. There have been days where I have no problems. I just prefer to spend the extra couple of dollars to buy the ammo that is sized exactly the same as the next one. I have put a couple of .22 bulk together, and noticed a slight change in size. Happy shooting!

  • i see that 22 long are going up in grain lately to 40 and even 60 gain one out there how much of a difference dose that make

  • Instead of saying " pardon me,excuse me" you should of said "Get the fuck outta my way!" lol Nice video, i like it!

  • what magazine are you using???

  • @shadeshiest22

Butler Creek, steel lips model, 25 rounds.

  • @tnoutdoors9 i have the exact same gun and clip

  • watch out for the car

  • Nice shootin tex!

  • Where did you get that mag? And do you know if it would fit all the Ruger 10/22 versions? Wanna get me a 22cal and this model seems like a good choice :-)

  • @UnknownGuitarist1993

My local dealer in Nashville keeps them in stock, but you can buy online. I've also seen them at Bass Pro....Butler Creek Steel Lips model, 25 rds. I don't know why it wouldn't fit, since it replaces the 10 rd box mag.

  • @tnoutdoors9 Ok, thanks for the answer :-)

  • aha very good game

  • I love this guy!

He's bee watching too many movies.....lol

shooting all around his property from different angles through a car, underneath a santa claus, behind the deck, behind a tree.....

    bwhahahahahhah

  • "Sup santa". Great video, I love your campy humor (if campy is the proper word to describe it).

  • u think this is a video game?

  • I wish i could do this in my back yard, fuck the city, I'm moving to Tennessee.

  • Whoa your really accurate dude

  • zombie training...lol

  • would you reccomend the 10/22 for me i am 12

  • @derekbraden1

It is the perfect starter gun for learning gun safety and shooting.

  • @derekbraden1 lol wat age can you get a gun in america :L ? im 13 and my da has a semi auto .22 but in ireland i cant own one till im 18 :L

  • how does your lawnmower deal with all the .22 shells? serious question. im planning on doing this out on my relative's farm this spring, and will eventually have to mow over planned shooting positions.

  • @captaincadavor

No problem with .22's as they are usually under the blade, but it HATES shotgun shells. I forget to pick those up, and it sounds like I'm mowing freaking rocks.

  • @tnoutdoors9 cool thanx

  • supp santa haha

  • Ha haaaaaaa Totally freakin awesome!!

  • your my new best friend against the zombie apocolypse lol

  • That looked like too much fun.Great job on the video and your shooting.Santa sure looked menacing.I would have probably capped him too.

  • Just watched it again. Good stuff!

  • @tnoutdoors9 Also one more thing, how often do you clean the ruger out?

  • I know this may sound stupid, but you might want to ask some buddies of yours to do some "run n guns" with you instead of doin it all by yourself. You'd be surprised how much fun it is with just a few buddies out there with ya

  • Love your 1022 videos.

  • whats up santa.......... thats awsome!!!

  • Oh shit forgot to wind down the car windows! SMASH SMASH!!!!

  • @I3attleFieldHero

That would have been epic. And likely the end of my long-term affiliation with State Farm Insurance.

  • @tnoutdoors9 all you would have to do is say "like a good neighbor, state farm is there!"

  • @tnoutdoors9 im sure you could talk to one of the 40 Million customers nationwide and then give them a call.

  • @I3attleFieldHero I know, awful close to the house and vehicles haha, hate to see a sneeze cost a windshield haha.

  • I got a 10 22 for Christmas and still waiting on the invitation up to your place to shoot.

    ;-)

  • o.O r u god!?!?!?!?!

  • u missed that guy with this big white beard

  • I got this rifle for christmas. I really cant wait to shoot it.

  • love the 10\22 ruger on wood stocks

  • Very cool video. Very cool property.

  • Cool Video! Ruger 10/22's are so much fun to shoot. Keep the great video's coming. What is the make of the mag that you have in your Ruger? Seems to be doing well in your Ruger.

  • @xtremearmor

I was using the Butler Creek Steel Lips model, 25 rounds. Review is forthcoming within the next week.

  • sup santa, pardon me, long shot, OHH YEAH

  • I and my friend have a .22 bolt rifle but we don't have anywhere to shoot it bc hunters kicked us out of our nearby construction site where do you suggest shooting a .22

  • @goronsrcool abandoned lots that have buildings and stuff.

  • This is why I want to move back to the eastern side of the US...

  • I got it!!!!! Im gonna be a millionaire too!!

Gonna invent a picatinny rail attachment/mount for HD cameras!!!

    THANK YOU YOUTUBE!! LOL

  • I was curious about 10mm. I dont recall having seen any videos of yours on 10mm and was wondering if you had ever done one or was planning to do one, and what you thought about 10mm as a ccw.

  • @xviperboax

I replied to this, but don't see it. I've owned both the Glock 20 and 29 in 10mm; carried the G29. I'm not aware of a compact .44 Mag, so the 10mm G29 is probably the most potent CCW gun, regarding raw foot lbs of energy on your hip. Ammo is expensive unless you reload, and it's stout for followup shots. Not my first choice, but a fun caliber to shoot. No plans for now to test 10mm, but that could change.

  • God Bless America, and Merry Christmas! Thanks for another awesome vidja

  • Gingle gongs....gingle gongs....gingle all the way.........

  • What's up Santa! I love it.

    Long shot, Oh Yeah!

  • SWEET sweet video!

    Keep 'em coming!

  • Good times, outdoors in TN, thanks for sharing.

  • haha, that was a fun vid to watch and Im really jealous that you have a back yard to shoot at. Those steel plates look like a lot of fun, Im going to have to look into getting some :)

  • You always seem to save the best shot for last. That Ruger is making all your Glocks jealous!

  • Now Y'all know why Charlie Daniels said "Ain't it good to be alive and be in Tennessee".

  • @fugstik thats why i hang ny hat here

  • lol nice video....looks like alot of fun!!!

  • Great stuff as always.

  • Excellent video.

  • Sup Santa, LOL. Who knew a .22 could be so much fun...

  • I just got a great idea for my Flip camera. I can make a rail mount for it and attach it to any weapon with a rail. It sounds like a much better option then duct tape, lol.

  • Great shooting! I need a backyard like that.

  • Rescuing Santa from the evil orange target zombies...and all before breakfast.

  • It's the future of video gaming. Love your vids.

  • Cool! Looks like a video game! In real life..

  • HE SHOT SANTA, HE SHOT SANTA!!! SOMEONE CALL THE NEWS, CALL BECK, CALL THE ACLU...

  • this is how doom should have been shot.

  • One anti-gunner has infiltrated and hit the dislike button.

  • @USFA45LC NO, that was his wife when she saw him shooting through the car windows.

  • @joatmaster0

    Or my insurance agent.

  • Great video, very entertaining, keep em up

  • What mags are you using?

  • I must say. You are one entertaining fella. Great vid.

  • I love your videos, and I agree: "BACK YARD ENVY!"

  • {---- "BACK YARD ENVY!"

  • Man you have too much fun. Great video!

  • Comment removed

  • You and Hickok45 just have too much fun down there in Tennessee! LOL.

As always, another well done video. Keep up the good work. Detroit Don.

PS Check out Youtube for "AM15", Part 1 & Part 2 for another interesting .22 rifle. ;-)

  • Cooollll!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So much fun!!!!!!

i need to buy a piece of land to play with my son like that. Man you are the happiest guy in the world.

  • Nice haha. Did you wife approve of the shooting through both driver and passenger windows? #LOL #FTW It does snow in TN haha Nice camera work as well..

  • @aaadream

She doesn't know. When I have to "go to ground" for a few days, you'll understand why!

  • Man good thing you are Santas Assault force, Whew that was close for Santa LOL great vid, keep it up !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • It was almost like watching my son playing one of his PS3 video games.

  • your a generous guy bud, keep doing your thing.

  • Fantastic Shooting .........good thing Santa didn't get in the line of fire.

  • Awesome video, as usual.

  • This video serves as proof that a .22 semi-auto rifle with some hi-cap mags would work wonders defending any modern homestead against multiple assailants in a typical post-apocalyptic siege. Last shot was the best!

  • @theKGB65 I would prefer something with a bit more punch for that application, but a rifle like this would get the job done.

  • As always, you are have too much fun, and I love it!!! I honestly can say that I always look forward to seeing your new videos when they come out. Thank you for the entertainment and keep 'em coming! Mark

  • awesome my friend

  • Thanks for the two and half minute break from studying! :D

  • My first gun is going to be a 10/22!

  • Man... I wish I had my own Christmas-themed shooting gallery...

  • Ya! i wanna gun..... =[

  • great video and excellent shooting, ''whats up santa'' priceless love it!!!!!!!!!

  • I had a friend with HotLips mags for his 10/22, and it jammed up constantly. Upon inspection, we found that the bolt was catching on the lips, even though the mag was still loaded. We took the mags and dragged the lips across the concrete driveway we were shooting on (as an impromtu file) and after that they ran 100%.

  • santa was taken hostage by a terrorist and at :47 sec he was freed!

    good job tnoutdoors9

  • Nice video, Merry Christmas.

  • operation santa liberation!

  • just curious about something. I see you in Hickok .45 vids and I see him in yours sometimes. How close are your two properties to each other?

  • @xviperboax

An hour apart, but we rarely see each other nowadays unless a video is in the making. We've known each other for 25 years.

  • @tnoutdoors9 WHAT! did not know that! i thought you met through youtube!

  • @tnoutdoors9

Damn, could make more vids seeing you two together.

  • @tnoutdoors9 I have to ask. How did you two meet? College?

  • @rifleslol

Business, he hired me for a sales position and was my BOSS. Imagine that! We kept in touch after we both left that company.

  • @tnoutdoors9 Oh wow. Did he get you started in shooting? It's pretty funny the way that a shooter infects everyone around them with gun fever, and most of the time don't even mean to.

  • First-person shooter... I LOVE IT!!!

  • Is the stock on the 10/22 kind of small? I'm thinking about getting a Hogue Overmolded Stock if I get a 10/22.

  • @phgHunter

Now that you mention it, yes. Length to trigger pull is 13.5", stock is 4.5" at its widest point. For this video, my left hand was positioned behind the magazine, actually wrapped over my trigger finger. Awkward, but necessary for not blocking the POV.

  • @tnoutdoors9 Ok thanks.

  • What's up, Santa.

  • lol good shooting! love your channel.

  • Man this looks like alot of fun! I wanna move to Tennessee now

    Whats up Santa HAHAHAHA

  • DOOM4... Hell Comes to Tennessee. That looked like every first-person-shooter game I've ever loved. Great idea! Still jealous of those hi cap mags. GREAT idea painting the front bead. How's that working out?

  • @gunporn68

Repainted it for this video, it had gone dull. The brass rod, or whatever, does not show up near as well. Fiber optic would be nice.

  • Damm! I wish I have a back yard like yours.

  • what kind of mount did you used to keep your camera on the side of your rifle

  • @xviperboax

Painters tape and some duct tape for good measure. Seriously.

  • Damn....that looked like a lot of fun!

  • Cool video you have talked me into getting one of those

  • @GARYMANDIEVAN Lol, everybody has to have a 10/22. It's a prerequisite to be an "actual" American.

  • You are having too much fun with that 10/22!!! Great video ★★★★★

  • I bet santa soiled himself when tnoutdoors9 came around that corner shooting.

  • @BearCIaw

I think he did, big time. That, or it was a lovely parting gift from the deer that have been frequenting the backyard.

  • thats an awesome gun

  • +++++

  • everyone needs one, good video

  • haha, I have had 2 butler creek 30 round magazines and they both sucked! Your's seem to work fine. I hope it is not my new 10/22 but the factory mag works great! I am looking online for a metallic one this time :) Nice shooting!

  • @ArtisanTony

With steel lips? I'm referring to the magazines, LOL!!!!!!

  • @tnoutdoors9 lol

  • hahahaha lmfao.. sup santa lol

  • What kind of magazine is that? Ever had any problems with it?

  • @escheld1

Butler Creek, in the description. Review forthcoming; I find it more reliable than the stock Ruger 10 rounders.

  • @tnoutdoors9 Steel lips or Hot lips?

  • @escheld1

THAT DEPENDS ON WHETHER OR NOT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT SHOOTING!!!!!

  • @tnoutdoors9 Was that a joke?

  • @escheld1

Yes, I thought you were kidding! What did I miss?

  • @tnoutdoors9 Butler Creek Steel Lips or Butler Creek Hot Lips?

  • @escheld1 butler creek mag come with plastic feed lips or steel.

  • @multicam2000 I am aware of that. That is my question....plastic or steel.

  • @escheld1

MY BAD, I had not heard of the hot lips style. These are steel lips. Several folks had suggested I go with those. They were $20 at a local gun store; planning to buy more of these. Just researched the "hot lips", which appears to have red molded polymer for feed lips. They were not well-rated based on the websites I quickly checked. I will definitely make a note of this when I review the steel lips version.

  • @tnoutdoors9 Thanks for the reply. I was wondering why you thought I was referring to YOUR lips. LOL

  • @escheld1

LOL, my mind is off today. I just updated the description to make it clear which version of the Butler Creek mag I was using. Again, review forthcoming of the steel lips version. I could do it now, but would like to procure a few more before posting the video.

  • is the ammo the remington golden bullets.yea i read the description

  • @bobiscool308

    YES, correct.

  • ahahaha hey santa

  • Lmao...Sup Santa!!!
