Heyy i have a question about this. When you press ctrl+shift + space is to turn on the trackpad but sometimes it opens something else. i didnt do anything and i dont know what program is htat... it says "no program selected" on a dark background
Answer to your first question: you can bring up the trackpad screen any time you want, but only when you are input mode, you can actually use it to input Chinese or any other languages.
go to system preferences> spaces>application assignments (click the small + sign) go to "system>library>input methods>chinese handwrting" then choose all spaces
I am in my last semester at the university of Louisville studying management and international business with my emphasis on Chinese. I think this will help a lot in my studies and future endeavors.
MUMUWENWU: Thank you soooo much for adding how to add the trackpad. Apple failed to include this in any directions and I couldn't find it on any forums. You are a lifesaver.
hehe, as you can see from the other video i made, typing is at least 7 times faster than handwriting on macbook. handwriting is only suitable for people who don't know how to type, like my father.
go to "system preferences" -> "language & text" -> "input sources" -> "Chinese: Trackpad handwriting" to add it. then use keyboard ctrl+shift+space or click the language icon to activate it.
hello, Pink, turn on the handwriting in system preferences, and look for the keyboard shortcut for how to turn it on
