Roland D-50 emulates the eminent 310 strings

90% of the work to sound similar is done from the Smallstone phaser.

Any strings filtered through it will sound similar to Oxygene and Equinoxe phased pads.

This sounds damn close to the original. Jarre used a D50 on his later albums -- I wonder if he used it on tours as a more transportable 310 replacement? If you can program the patch like this, Jarre's sound designers could *certainly* pull it off.
