Obama is trying to end wars rather than start them. He's trying to save the economy rather than destroy it. He's trying to pass health care reform rather than block it. End torture, close Guantanamo Bay, protect the environment, teach tolerance, end partisan bickering, balance the budget, rather than the reverse.

Because the Republicans killed off all of their liberal Republican members, there have never been so many straight party lines votes.

I think what people are seeing is that corporations are fighting like dogfight dogs to corrupt the Democratic Party as thoroughly as they have corrupted the Republican Party.

It is up to voters to prevent that from happening.

The same? The Dems and Repubs aren't even close on most issues. The 3 problems with the Dems are that they are weak willed, easily bought, and they have no competition from the left.
