Hey Talkind, thanx for uploading this song! It's funny you describe Lanegans voice as "nice", though. Somehow, I consider this unbelievable voice as everything but nice...
@omedicius The truly talented, like Lanegan, don't want to be on the radio because then they would be sell out whores to a degree. This guy is the shit; he lives a couple towns over from me part of the year and never acts like a "rockstar." I think he likes his relative obscurity because he can go out to eat without getting mobbed. When he is recognized he appreciates that it is a real fan, not a fame monger.
this is sexcellent...I just had a total mini mind explosion...Mark Lanegan, damn!...can't explain it...all the elements of this song just fit together so well as only this group of individuals can do it. X_X woah.
Anyone else find the keyboards falling behind, out of sync, annoying? Its driving me crazy. Such a good song but I cant get past that. But i love that non-intonated guitar.
I'm not usually listenin to this kinda music but this is actually really good and it makes me wanna listen more of his songs. This is a bit like hippie music combined with rock and roll. It's really hard to explain and describe it but I really enjoy it :)
lead guitars intonation is out...i would expect nothing less from josh and nick. and if your confused i'm not being sarcastic, if you don't understand what i said go watch some interviews with josh about his guitars.
he sounds like whats his name from steppenwolf on this song. Jeez he should grab that bari sax player from morphine , i think that would be another amazing thing mark would do with his quiet career . thank you for not dying or getting busted along the way mark .
It's Belgian musician Aldo Struyf on the keyboards, not Aldo Schuyf. He plays a mean guitar and has his own band, Creature with the Atom Brain. 2 cd's out, Lanegan sings on one track on each of them. Nothing to get too excited about tho IMHO.
@kimikodreamgirl And in my "humble" opinion, Struyf is a kick ass musician ! Anyway...Lanegan is an amazing artist, great songwriter with a great sound. Hope to hear something new soon in BE !
@pearlthegirl probably because lanegan has never gained as much popularity or fame, is on the whole not really given the credit due to him. when people think of cobain cornell vedder corgan love they should also think of mark lanegan, he deserves a place in that pantheon of "alt/grunge" rock gods.
@777Lateralus Chris was roommates with Andrew Wood and could scream and jam with them all. I love the alice mudgarden on SAP!!! That's harmony, he was there and played with them all, take your others on your list and put them where you like Cornell's still a BMF today,as he was when he made Louder then Love.
I'm sure Mark would 2nd that one!!! Lanegan, Cornell and Cantrell need to make an album. B. Martin back on drums from the trees, now you have something!!!
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
to be fair screaming trees were crap, lanegan is brilliant and its better that he went on to create something like bubblegum as opposed to another dust
Well i blame Nirvana for that, they overshadowed many bands which includes "Screaming Trees" but doesn't matter if he's big or not, as long as we get to listen to his music and the others are missing out
saw him live last month with Greg Dulli, Gutter Twins, was wondering how his voice would sound live, didnt need to worry, it was amazing,he may not move at all or even look at the audience but his voice just resonates in your head, awesome! Dulli was pretty good too
So good baby....!

The reason this song from good elevates to amazing is Homme on guitar
