There's another, better, State of the Nation song by Industry... at least better to people who like synth pop... great song, none the less. you all should check it out!
Well, we all have opinions. I still appreciate that u took the time to listen to it, because that song is very personal to me, in a way u probably wouldn't belive, so I'll leave it at that.
As I recall, this was a March 1986 Tube performance on the day "Shellshock" came out - a Friday, indeed. So did New Order take the chance to play their brand new single for a national network audience? No, they played "State of the Nation" - a track which wouldn't be released for another six months! Only New Order had such contempt for promotional logic and I loved them for it!

Lucky bastard! I would love to have a Shergold Marathon 6 bass but they are almost impossible to obtain in the U.S.
